When I came in here it felt like home! There is local art on the walls, the ambiance gives me the real La that I grew up with. The coffee is GOOD. The service is GREAT. The music was a vibe. Whether you come here to do some work or just to stop in for a coffee, it will all be worth it!!

This might just be one of my new go-to places out here. Vanessa, the owner, was an absolute delight and she knows how to make a damn good coffee. This was my first time here but she made me feel like I was a regular that's been coming here for years. I had an iced Americano and it was smooth and rich in flavor with subtle notes of cocoa. The atmosphere is also really nice and relaxing and she displays local artwork on the wall which is really cool! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Support local businesses and definitely give this place a try!

Not only is this coffee shop a MUST visit but the story behind its creation is impactful and inspiring. First of all, the coffee is DELECTABLE. I ordered a simple latte with oat milk--perfection. As I enjoyed it, I perused the gorgeous artwork hanging on the walls: paintings of Jimmy Hendricks, Erika Badu, Nina Simone, and other influential artists adorn the walls. These paintings create an inspiring and cozy environment. The latte tasted even better once I learned the story behind LA Grind's establishment from the owner: after the ridiculous and unfounded arrest of two black men waiting for a friend in a popular coffee shop in Philadelphia in April 2018, she decided to leave her 25-year executive-level management position at a prestigious university to establish a coffee shop that was founded on inclusion. Her story is inspiring, impactful, and empowering. I urge you to adopt this coffee shop as your own. We must support small businesses like LA Grind, established for our comfort and belonging.

My recent experience here was all GOOD VIBES, Didn't know what get for the time of day, gentlemen offered a suggestion and I was truly impressed.
Found this gem on a whim and am grateful to have met the owner, Vanessa. She treated me as if she was hosting her own family in her home. I ordered a dirty chai latte and almond milk latte, which were both wonderful. Almost as wonderful as Vanessa and our conversation. Highly recommend this shop. Support local!
