The best ham and cheese baguette I think I've EVER had in my life. Just absolutely ridiculous.

Came back for a sit down lunch one day- ordered the turkey pesto sandwich. It is beyond good!! The bread is so fresh and buttery/salty. I also tried the poppy oatmeal cookie- I personally wasn't a fan. The sandwiches and bread are divine though. Can't wait for my next trip.

Great spot to have brunch. Ample seating and dog friendly. Willing to come back to try more things here and take a loaf of bread home.Shakshuka was great. Definitely recommend.Sourdough cinnamon roll was enormous! Very good frosting; it had a bright, lemony taste. Half the edges had a nice caramelized taste, the other half was burnt and unedible.Took home an olive bread and it was delicious. Not my favorite of all time, but definitely up there, and I would get it again if I am nearby.

Seriously good bread based food 4.8 / 5.0The bread here is legit, it's delicious and hearty bread, made properly. There are a lot of varieties of bread, pastries and dough. The pita was by far the most moist and tasty pita I've had in my entire life. The turkey sandwich was very good and the pita sandwich was excellent. All the right flavors and lots of textures and colors.Prices are very fair for what you get.Coffee was delicious.Staff very friendly and attentive. The only reason this isn't a 5 for me, which is nearly impossible is that parking is a little difficult along Washington street and all of the seating is outdoors, which can be less than pleasant in bad weather.Vegetarian options: Some decent vegetarian options. Of course you could always get a pastry or just get some bread with butter and jam. Plenty of options.Parking: When it's busy you'll be walking a few blocksKid-friendliness: Great place for kids as it's open seating, some picnic table style, and a very casual environment.

Lodge bread is an eatery that I often have a desire for. I’ve been there for breakfast and lunch. The food is always good. The flavor and texture of the bread they make is wonderful.I was there on a Saturday afternoon. I was ordering a sandwich and made a minor modification request. I was told they couldn’t do that even though I always make that request. I don’t know what the server was thinking, but as soon as I pushed the issue a little, she made the change. Why she pushback and the attitude I got after I insisted she make the substitution, it was very offputting. Today’s review as well as the tip she received, I’ve made my point.

Wish there was more seating. Tuna salad salad, Turkey pesto sandwich, cold brew - divine. Prices are too high - let’s hope that means equitable pay for employees!! ?? this won’t be the last visit here for me. Don’t miss the golden latte, the focaccia, Mexican Coke and tuna salad.

Pro-tip: Arrive at 8:10am to beat the Sunday rush! Their breads are divine and their service is amazing. Shoutout to Juan for the friendly banter and amazing service. I was surprising a friend for her birthday with some fresh bread and coffee and they made it *exactly* the way I wanted it. I’ve tried their pita sandwich and large cinnamon roll as well and everything is great ?

Alex was so kind and welcoming! I came here alone and liked the seating by the street because it felt open. They had spots inside and on the patio too. The jambon-beurre, seasonal danish, and cinnamon roll were all great :)

Came for lunch hungry and ready for food. I asked prior to ordering how long the wait for a pizza was & got told 15 minutes. After 25 minutes we asked if the pizza was on the way & the worker told us it was in the oven. However, I heard her ask the chef who was making the pizzas "Do you have a mushroom pizza" and he said no. She then took the ticket out of the "done orders" pile and give it the chef. The pizza came out 30 more minutes later & got no apology. Disappointing they didn't apologize or own up to their mistake.
