I found the dining experience disappointing overall. The bacon and polenta lacked flavor and presentation, especially considering the hefty price tag of $7 on the bacon. The French toast was overcooked and had a wet, eggy center. However, the chocolate almond croissant stood out. The homemade blueberry coffee cake was dry and lacked flavor. While the portions were generous, the quality didn't justify the $40+ per person price. On the brighter side, the hazelnut cookie was a highlight, especially when warmed up. The beignet lacked flavor and had a dense texture reminiscent of a donut, rather than the desired lightness. The fries and aioli were enjoyable, offering a satisfying combination.Despite the culinary disappointments, Sarah, the owner, was exceptional, and the interior decoration provided a stunning backdrop for a group gathering. While the food may not have been memorable, the ambiance and company can make the experience worthwhile. It all depends on your preference and priority for brunching.

I went on a tuesday night and the veal-bone broth in the onion soup changed my entire life. I had never had a broth so perfect: layered, dark, unctuous, and flavor beyond anything I’ve tasted before. It was so good I went back on saturday night, my last meal before moving out of LA. What I received was broth that had so much a water added to it, it was beige and without a hint of flavor. I was absolutely crushed and honestly really upset that a restaurant would advertise a 3-day prep stock only to water it down when it reduces too much by the end of the week. It’s honestly disrespectful to the profession and to the people who made the original stock. If the owners figure out consistency they’ll have a magical place on their hands. As far as service, there was no concern expressed about the experience of the stock, no one came out to talk to us or to offer an explanation or apology. The server was very kind but she was not a manager.I had the chicken thigh earlier that week and it was dry and flavorless. The simple green salad was the best and most consistent thing on the menu. I would have gone back for just that and the soup if it could be relied on to be delicious every time. Overall, they crushed my dreams at Loupiotte Kitchen. I hope no one else has to go through it.

absolutely amazing french restaurant. all the staff that engaged with us were so impressively kind. we initially came for the french onion soup as we heard absolutely amazing things about the dish, but later came to find it’s only served in the evenings.the inside of the restaurant is so extremely homey and cute. i love the feel of this place.the food however. i cannot believe how great it was. we dined for brunch and it was fantastic. the soft scramble and the rene’s burrito were both incredible!!! perfect restaurant with high quality ingredients that you can taste the first moment. cannot wait for the opportunity to come back and try more of the menu. i absolutely recommend this wonderful place!!! 10/10.

My friend and I stopped by this cute French cafe on a Wednesday afternoon so we got sat right away. This place has such a homey, warm vibe especially with the holiday decorations! So so cute. The staff was attentive and gave recommendations since it was our first time. We ordered the soft scrambled egg with bacon, tuna sandwich, and french toast. All were very good and filling! The scrambled egg did get just a bit heavy midway but still tasty. I usually don't like too much cream on my french toast but the chantilly cream was amazing! Subtly sweet and went well with the berries and brioche. Would love to be back to try other food/drink items.Street parking may be harder to find during the evening and weekends.

Sooooo wonderful!!! The staff, the food, the ambiance!!! I spent my birthday there in their private dining area and it was the best decision ever. I will definitely be coming back soon!!

Service: Service was attentive but it took pretty long to get our food. FYI: 18 percent service fee will be added to your bill. Where are we at? Sugarfish? Food: we ordered the creamy polenta and the soft scramble eggs. Both dishes were extremely heavy (like we should've taken Lactaid prior heavy). I would say the polenta was pretty good as a first bite but afterward not so much. The soft scramble eggs were flavorless. Consistency wise, it was pretty light but lacked in the flavor department. Like the opposite of Guy Fieri slogan of "flavortown". The eggs were drowning in parm cheese but it didn't add anything to the dish. Like we had a Popeye's hot sauce packet in the car, and I should've brought it in to cut the richness of the two dishes. We both also added bacon and potatoes to our dish. The bacon looked like it was prepared in a college dorm--like it was boiled in a Mr. Coffee pot and then "grilled" in a toaster. Not worth the extra 10 dollar add on. Halfway through our meal, my GF and I both felt pretty bloated and nauseated--like we needed zofran asapFinal take: I wouldn't recommend going here. Over hyped. The Ambiance was great but the food was as mid as the food in Paris, France (Yes, I know... hot take) My GF also had to throw up afterwards in a Von's bathroom reminiscence of pregaming so hard that you gotta throw up before heading to Lock and Key.

Dined here for dinner, we had the Mussels, Oeuf Mayo, Onion soup, Founder, and Endive salad. Then order fries, so you can dip into the sauce complimenting the mussels. Expect small portions, therefore we ordered multiple dishes. Every dish was well crafted and seasoned. Usually, I find french food heavy, but these dishes had great flavor but it was not too fatty or overwhelming. It's interesting, because they only have their menu written on one board. The menu board is shown to each table prior to ordering. The restaurant has an eclectic style. For example, the dining ware were all different along with the chairs.
