Lucky Tacoshi is the newest fast casual spot to hit the food court at Century City Mall. I'm happy to report it works as a quick meal. I've gone before a movie and just having one of their sushi tacos filled me right up! You order on an iPad and about 10 minutes later, have food in hand. In addition to the sushi taco I had, they have poke bowls, sushi burritos, fried mushrooms, dumplings and seaweed salad. On my stop in, I tried the tempura shrimp taco ($7.99, 353 calories) which was wrapped in fried seaweed, based with white rice, topped with two pieces of fried shrimp and drizzled with eel and spicy mayo. I loved it. I'll say this though, it all broke apart when I tried to eat so was messy AF. You've been warned. I'd love to try their other sushi tacos like the salmon, fresh shrimp and crab. My only negative besides falling apart is there was a staff who was sneezing non-stop. I didn't see them wash their hands and they handed me the taco. I was horrified, lol!!! But overall, great quick meal.

This was in the food court and looked the most interesting to me. I was interested in the Mexican/Japanese fusion. I got the 2 salmon sushi combo with rice and dumplings. I really like the flavors and the texture, but the fried batter on the taco shell did end up sticking to my teeth so that was kind of annoying. The dumplings were your standard dumplings.

I have never disliked a poke bowl this much! The staff threw all the toppings on top of the bowl and had no idea what she was doing. Also, the amount of fish you get is so incredibly small, that I barely tasted it in my bowl. And then she drenched the bowl in a sauce called spicy mayo but it was so bland and it turned into a greasy mess. I have never not finished a poke bowl before but I couldn't finish it. EVERYTHING in the bowl was bland and flavorless!! If you are trying to skimp out on your customers why open a food stall??!! Also, the staff don't greet you, and they look really unhappy. I should have walked away when no one greeted me, that was a sure sign that they don't like being there which means they don't care about the food or customers.

It's a great mall location, and the food was fresh and good for me. Anytime you can go to a mall and eat well is a win in my book!

Decided to try it, as it was something new we hadn't tried at Century City Mall. The gimmick of the sushi taco is fun, but that's about it. There was nothing really special - or good - about my shrimp or my eel tacos. The meats were ok, so was the rice. The shell tasted a bit stale. Will not try again.

I walked up and used a ipad to order. The screen was filthy filthy. I placed my quick lunch order and paid via card. No cash accepted. The screen prompted me to leave a tip. For what? The food was mediocre at best. Yes edible but I not good enough for a my repeat business. And the food item I received did not look like the photo :(. It was like shopping at Shein for lunch this was my individual view July 2023

It is very rare that I completely abandon my meal, but the salmon sushi taco was completely inedible. The salmon was really slimy. I also got the shrimp tempura taco and that was okay. The tacos were too big so it was hard to get a bite that both had topping and rice in it. We wanted to love this place cuz the name was cool, but it was just a bad experience overall.

Quick service food court counter.Order on iPad and don't really have to interact. The burrito was filling and flavorful. I had a side of spicy mayo and soy sauce with it.

I don't understand the 5 star reviews. The salmon burritos had absolutely zero flavor. For the price tag I wouldn't t even bother. It is an automatic ordering system so forget about customizing anything. No actual person will help you. I watched them have to redo the guy ahead of me sushi taco twice because they kept getting it wrong. The sushi taco combo was decent size but also no flavor. If you like bland sushi this spot is for you. Otherwise try to poke spot in the same food court.

I recently visited Lucky Tacoshi and had a truly delightful experience. The taco sushi offerings at this place are simply amazing. We ordered the salmon, el, and vegan taco sushi, and each one of them was a true culinary delight. The flavors were outstanding, and the combination of traditional sushi elements with a taco twist was a genius idea. The freshness of the ingredients shone through, and the taste was exceptional. It's evident that the chefs at Lucky Tacoshi have a deep understanding of flavor profiles and how to create a harmonious fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine. What impressed me even more was the impeccable construction of the taco sushi. The rolls were expertly made, and they held together perfectly. This meant that when taking a bite, the fillings didn't crumble or fall apart, making the entire dining experience convenient and enjoyable. If you're a fan of sushi, or simply looking to try something unique and delicious, Lucky Tacoshi is a must-visit. The taco sushi creations here are a true culinary adventure that will leave you craving for more. Don't miss out on this extraordinary fusion of flavors and textures.

I usually never write reviews, but this place was definitely worth a review. I went in on Sunday afternoon and the workers attending me were very attentive, the guy was super sweet, they explained everything to me and both had a lot of knowledge! It was my first time trying this place, literally looked up the reviews and they seemed really good. The food it's self was super delicious, would recommend to anyone :)

Good sushi burritos and excellent customer service. Had an issue with shrimp tail in burrito before but the owner corrected it! Will be coming back here again!
