Lupitas has been my go to for tamales & chilaquiles for years! Their menu covers many breakfast & lunch option's. Small little place for a quick bite. They used to be a cash only but now they accept credit card & Apple Pay (big plus). Everyone that works here is always pleasant. Not ideal for a large party as it is a small place and only open all afternoon. Food is always delicious so I always forget to take photos but stay tuned as I always go back for more.

These are my favorite food, prior to them opening their store I would buy them on Andrita where they sold them on the street. Although I no longer live in the neighborhood I still stop by anytime I'm near by.

This place has the most tastiest tamales and sopes!! I always order with Postmates and they package their sopes properly so the toppings don't slide off during transit. I've honestly had horrible experiences with sopes from other places where all the toppings are slid and scattered all over the plate and the sope is so mushy and soggy.. But this place's sopes are so crisp, crunchy, fresh and all toppings are set in place! And their tamales are just chef's kiss x10! I always get tamales from a lady who makes them at home and sells at my work but this place is 100x better! This place is clean, crisp and tastes just as good if not better than homemade! Definitely recommend this place!

I stopped buying here because I noticed he tamales were always soggy, decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and buy again and to my dismay, soggy again. The champurrado was delicious as well as the corn tamales but as for the other 2 just a soupy mess.

Went here and got tamales chicken and pork two days before Christmas! This place opens early and there tamales sell out fast! Owners are very nice and tamales are reasonably priced. The green salsa in them is a bomb! Come check them out!

Ordered chicken/pork/beef tamales. They get you in & out very quick and there's decent parking. Attentive workers. Tamales were a 3.5/5. --filling was still a bit runny so I threw it on my stove to add a "touch". -flavors: The chicken& pork were authentic & made in-house so they're worth trying. As far as beef tamale goes: I didn't like how the beef tamale wrapper noted they're manufactured out of a warehouse in LA. Made me feel like they're the tamales you find in the freezer aisle at Ralph's. I'd skip beef, but that's just my opinion.

Super delicious food. People who own it and work there are super nice. They can update their utensils though. Super thin, small and difficult to eat with. Also, a lot of them were dusty and dirty. People dropped food on them as they puck up their to go orders from the counter.
