Was hungry and scouring for food around Koreatown, and as soon as I saw the word "Mala" I, as any reasonable fiend for spice would do, cut three lanes of honking traffic and found myself at this fine establishment hidden at a tiny strip mall. The restaurant is shared with a burmese restaurant in a hybrid pizza hut/taco bell southeast asian edition. Delicious dry pot - it was the first time we've had it! The bean curd rolls were a standout to have in the dry pot, with a great level of numbing sauce(it is optional). It is a charming space with lovely service(a shared space with a Burmese restaurant, don't be surprised).

I ordered online on Post mates 15 min before closing and I was expecting the order to be canceled. The food was on time and great. I like my dumplings spicier (with chili flakes) but I think most places make it like this. Also, I don't like when dumplings have the clear noodles inside as filler, like these do....
