Great lil mom-and-pop bakery! Service is great and has a large shared parking lot. This is a no-frills kind of bakery. Generally, what they offer aren't fancy but are solid basic korean-style pastries. I especially like their white bean pastry. And my goodness, they do not skimp on their fillings! Just that alone will have me coming back. Haven't gotten their cakes but they look nice and are fairly priced. They also sell coffee and korean shaved ice, which I'll have to try one day! I'll keep coming back as long as they're open :)

Manmi Bakery is located near BDC Tofu in the: Western Plaza Shopping strip mall. This bakery is the second location to their Garden Grove location that's known for : Cream Puffs. Besides their famous cream puffs, their traditional Korean sweet breads and cakes are stellar. My favorites are the Chapssal donuts (chewy rice flours donut ball filled red bean with chestnuts), sweet potato pastry, and Azuki bean sweet bread. The cream puffs are rich and custard filled- heavenly. Cash and Credit accepted . Parking: plenty in a large private lot.

This review is really for their "Koroke" since that's the only thing I got. They have two versions: the traditional fried one and a healthier baked alternative. Do yourself a favor and go with the fried.... much better! It brought back so many childhood memories. It was incredibly delicious and packaged well. The lady was very kind in showing me the options available, but I only came to get that. I look forward to coming back and getting more Koroke along with trying some of the other options. Each Koroke was $3.

Walked in with my 5 lb dog (not a service animal). Asked to leave per store policy despite being the only customer. Apparently, sales and common sense are optional.

Solid old school Korean bakery. Nothing fancy but quality is very high. Twisted sugar donut is best in ktown.

Really a great store! I had to go in early in the morning to pick up a cake for later that night and needed something that would hold. They suggested the cheesecake cake (cake on the bottom, cheesecake on top). It was beautifully decorated. They provided the plastic knife, candles and matches too! Very very complete and thoughtful. They let me pick out 1 pastry as a gift! Everything was freshly made and was super tasty!

This is my go to bakery for the yummy yellow cream puff. Unfortunately for me, the bread is meh but the custard inside is just so delicious that I'd rather come here and pay money for cream puffs even thought I'm not eating the bread part if that makes any sense lol they really are generous with the filling so it's worth it! I can't compare them to other bakeries when it comes to their cream puff filling! I really tried to love their other bread and tried them but everything else is meh honestly

Pastries were very stale and should not have been sold to public.

Ordered a custom cake for my son's first birthday and it was delicious! It was a little pricey (i didn't shop around for prices, unfortunately) $250 but it was a very cute cake and not too sweet, just sweet enough! All our guests loved the cake. I will definitely be returning!

Very unfriendly to dogs. All i wanted was a coffee but they have a strict no dog rule. Seems like a bad business choice, but ok

Absolutly wonderfuly delicious. It's been years of tracking down a good Korean bakery that took me back to when I first had that delicious custurd/cream filled saaa mich. I have tried many 13 different bakery and none tasted like that one with omma kim in granda hills. This place ads their own kick like a nut flavor can't make it out maybe hazelnut or pecan. Do your self a favor - try the little two slice bread with cream filling. And welcome to the addiction, yay we gonna get fat.

Small, cute Korean bakery. The cream puffs are fire, not too sweet! Will add this to my list for sure
