Old school style breakfast spot with delicious food to back it up. Everything was flavorful and on point. Fantastic service. My first time here with the wife but we’ll be coming back no question.
Cute cafe, feels like your inside someone's home, and the food is delicious. Nice crispy hashbrows and the omelet was 10/10. Highly recommend the grilled blueberry muffin....its the perfect blend of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

what a great find!! maxine's is an adorable cafe with a cozy interior and great food. this place has probably the best biscuits and gravy i've had in all of LA - the gravy has a lot of sausage and is actually seasoned well. the biscuit is light and fluffy and buttery. its also only $12!! i also got am omelet which was a little underdone for my tastes, but the chili bean sauce it came with was fantastic. their fresh oj is great and service was awesome too. everyone was very down...read full review
