I am soooooooooooooo sad they closed. My family LOVED this place. We would drive to eat here for over 30 minutes and didn't mind it. They had THE BEST Chicago Hot dogs and others were as good. The outdoor seating was so cozy felt like your own backyard. Meea's please reopen!

This place can't close!!! It's my favorite place for hotdogs! You can't get a chicago dog anywhere in LA other than here! And the tater tots were so perfect. Please don't close!!!!

This place was one of the better chicago dogs I've had in Los Angeles. It had great vibes, nice small spot. I'll miss it!

Holy…what a Chicago Dog - you only need one. Will be coming back for more. They are even better than they look in the pictures. Also there’s a cute little seating area in back with umbrellas and tables. It’s worth having your dog fresh.

I love this place!!! But please tell me it's not true that you're closing for good next week??? My boyfriend and I are regulars and it's our favorite hot dog joint. The food wasn't that fresh today but I'm assuming it's because you're using up all your inventory. I hope it's not true but if it is good luck and thank you!

My wife and I love Meea's. We drive 20 minutes one way a few times a month to eat here, but the last time we went, they said they would be closing soon (in a few months or so).Their hotdogs are some of the best we have ever tasted. They make their own buns, and have some of the best combinations of all time. I love their Southland, corndog, and New Yorker, my wife loves their Mexicana, Chicago dog, and the Seattle. You seriously cannot go wrong with this place. The outdoor seating is gorgeous, and if you eat there at night, the lit string lights overhead give the vibe of a summer picnic. If you haven't tried it, then do yourself a favor and do so because it's worth the drive!

Fantastic spot! We had two Chicago hot dogs, which were fantastic -- all the traditional toppings and a very tasty grilled hot dog, on a delicious bun. The tots were also great. The most surprising part is the wonderful outdoor patio right next door. Wonderful place; we will be back!

This place is so freaking delicious. First time here. Got the Seattle, Southland, New Yorker, and Mushroom. All are amazing. Nice little patio too.

I will start by saying how I admired this place and its quality of food before. I come to this hog place for one thing, That is my favorite, which is the early bird.I would get a turkey hotdog, scrambled eggs, some mail, and Messi on the side and a couple pieces of avocado on top. This is my second order of getting the early bird and I didn't get any of those things that I had requested online. This time I got extra seasoning which was different that was almost overbearing and the tater tot felt like they've been sitting there. They weren't airy like they used to be.I ate the hot dog only because I paid money for it and I was already gone from the venue but I'm finding myself not wanting to go there anymore debating on maybe I should just go in there and order it. Hopefully they get it right that would probably be the only thing I would go there for and I wouldn't recommend ordering online if you're thinking about it I'm sorely disappointed.

Best tater tots in eagle rock/ highland park. Never too salty or soggy. I should order 2 cos I always eat half of it before I get home.

Do not drive too fast or you might just miss it...... like I did! (Insert chuckle here!) It really is an unassuming place and it's so easy to miss it if you weren't paying attention. However, it was easy enough to go around, so I drove slower and was able to find entry to their private parking lot. I've had this place bookmarked for so long, but I just haven't gotten the chance to find myself anywhere near this area. It was a must stop once I was within a 5 mile radius because who knows when I'll find myself anywhere near here again. The menu isn't very extensive but the options were so good, I was torn between the Seattle, Mushroom and Chili! Mushroom eventually won out and I got it with a side of chili cheese tots. CHILI CHEESE TOTS: Tots were cooked to a perfect crisp and the chili was full of umami. The cheese was the perfect melt and combining all three in each bite was nothing short of YUM. It's a great alternative to chili cheese fries - sometimes change is good. In this case, it was. MUSHROOM DOG: I wasn't impressed by its appearance at first, but I was hooked at first bite! There are only 7 ingredients to this dog but each bite was packed with flavor. Every element worked well with each other, but the dog+mushrooms stood out best. It was delicious - I think I ate the whole thing in less than 5 minutes. FOOD: 5. There was nothing I didn't like. SERVICE: 5. Friendly staff and food came out reasonably quick. VALUE: 5. Beyond reasonable (see attached menu pic.) PARKING: Small private lot, but street also available. OVERALL: 5. Don't let its external or internal appearance fool you - this is a gem, a diamond in the rough, most especially for hotdog lovers. I get it now - there's a reason why they have some serious followers. I might just go out of my way to try all their other dogs and have a repeat of those tots... mmmmm.... tots!

Some of the best hotdogs I've ever had. Their California dog is good with tater tots with chili and cheese.. I'm a regular customer here.

Solid hot dogs - the chili is king. Gives Pinks a run for its $. I ordered the chili dog sans Fritos. The staff took pride in the food - you could tell how they toasted the bread - the bread didn't crumble under the weight of the chili. Want to try chili tator tots next!

Every neighborhood should have joint that only serves hotdogs. Love the Chicago dog and chili dogs when I’m feeling dirty.
