I thoroughly miss the option of making the matcha lattes a standard matcha tea. The Blueberry Matcha Tea (made with just water) that they used to have on their menu brought me consistently on a 45 minute drive just to get that. They have changed management since then and are extremely strict about asking for something that's "off-menu" or "is an adjustment to what they have on the menu."I asked for a Blueberry Matcha Water, they said they couldn't do it, I asked if they could just replace the milk with water and still charge me for the Blueberry Matcha Latte (which would've effectively saved them money), and they said they have to stick strictly to the recipes.I miss this place dearly, it's become a matcha place that generally serves things you could easily get elsewhere rather than just here. The Blueberry Matcha Latte was ok, but far too heavy for what I wanted.Service was very nice and they were apologetic about not being able to make any changes.I won't be coming back unless I'm dragged back here. Time to look for a new matcha spot.

If you’re particular about your Matcha you will find that Midori Matcha matches your expectations. They use ceremonial-grade matcha so the colors are vibrant and the flavor is well-rounded. I felt that their matcha had a little kick to it, very subtle but it was that note presented itself at the very end of a sip.Their prices are very reasonable at $6 for a matcha latte and $3 for their matcha ice cream. It’s a beautiful establishment, the interiors are wooden and inviting. The shop is located right across a water fountain and has plenty of seating inside and outside. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. It’s one of my favorite places downtown to grab authentic matcha ?

The matcha ice cream was excellent and the granola really paired well with it! Highly recommend. I wish I tried the matcha scone because it looked delicious. My daughter loved her matcha latte.

The matcha ice cream was excellent and the granola really paired well with it! Highly recommend. I wish I tried the matcha scone because it looked delicious. My daughter loved her matcha latte. Cute, tiny shop in little Tokyo. Very quick service even with a line.

Genuine matcha drinks and matcha-related deserts in the middle of Little Tokyo. I've taken Japanese friends here were truly impressed with the flavor so that has to mean something. It's like a small clean coffee shop that's on the newer side, but the styling is very modern. Many of the drinks are mixes with matcha like strawberry matcha or mocha matcha. The matcha brownies are soft and incredibly subtly sweet. The service is good, never had a bad drink or incorrect order here.

I was excited to try this place because I expected some really authentic matcha, but I ended up feeling really split about it. Their matcha hojicha swirl was so flavorful and delicious, but their blueberry matcha drink fell flat for me. I'd rate the ice cream a 5/5 and the drink a 2/5. It has a really strong blueberry flavor- I appreciate that it doesn't taste like artificial blueberry syrup like some places, but it ends up completely overpowering the matcha flavor. The latte ended up just tasting like a blueberry juice. The service was great though, the workers had a lot of energy despite being so busy with just two of them behind the counter. Definitely recommend the ice cream, but you might have better luck with some of their other matcha drinks instead of the blueberry.

I got an iced strawberry latte and a matcha hojicha soft serve. I liked the matcha they used but their strawberry was too pungent and it definitely overpowered the matcha flavoring. The soft serve was good as well, i think I would preferred just a normal matcha soft serve but the hojicha wasn't bad but it was not my favorite.

Omg my now favorite matcha place!!! I've honestly never tried a matcha cafe in California but this place was so good! It reminded me of Japan I got the matcha swirl and they sprinkled some powder on it. 10/10 recommend There was a line out the door but they got our orders pretty quick

Iced Matcha Latte and matcha lavender latte is excellent - you can tell its quality from the first sip because of the color and the flavor is strong even with sweetener. Definitely one of the best I've had in LA. Iced Hojicha Latte was also tasty if you're a fan - it's one of the better ones. Wouldn't recommend ordering a matcha granita on Uber eats for delivery - by the time it got to me it had melted. It also only tasted like vanilla milk, not much of any matcha flavor. I'm not sure what went wrong here since the matcha latte was excellent flavor wise.

Best matcha soft serve ever had. Both matcha and hojicha are great. You can taste the quality. Texture is on point too.

This matcha was SO GOOD !!! I’m from NYC and tried plenty of matchas and this was by far one of the best. I got the regular iced matcha latte and it was so yummy. I also especially recommend the matcha scone ?

Service was excellent, location was great, matcha was even better! I love that this place has organic matcha, it's authentic and isn't too overly sweet. I love the cuteness of the place and how the matcha still tasted a little grainy, not sure what other words I would use. I would def recommend if you like matcha
