Delicious, takes a while to cook but totally worth the wait! Very generous service and a very nice atmosphere for a lunch meeting, a family dinner or even a solo meal.

Mimas Mediterranean is a great little Resturant located in the historic St. Vincent Alley. I have been ordering from them for a few years now. There are many Middle Eastern and Lebanese style restaurants that deliver all around the jewelry district, but Mimas in my opinion stands out! They are my go to place when I am craving grilled kebabs. First of all, you can try anything on their menu and you will not be disappointed. I usually order the kebab trio or the Lule and Chicken kebab combo. It comes with their unique version of hammus, salad, rice and fresh pita bread. Prices are reasonable, food portions are perfect and delivery time at the Resturant or nearby is a fair. Sometimes I will invite a client, family member or colleague to lunch when I am available and we will enjoy eating at the Resturant where we can dine in their patio, facing the famous and historic St. Vincent Alley. If you happen to be shopping at the Downtown Los Angeles Jewelry district or shopping districts like the Flower Mart or Clothing Mart and your in the mood for Middle Eastern food, then look no further, Mimas Mediterranean will not disappoint. Attached are photos of the usual items myself and my guests have ordered.

Average food. I ordered the trio kebab, and I didn't finish my food. The meat looked not fresh, and very dry. The service was so slow, I was told my order will take 15 minutes, but it took 35! Their Fries was mixed with old ones. Never going back there again. The ambiance is very sketchy. Lots of people by the end of the alley look like they were gambling which I guess you'd expect in downtown LA alleys. One more thing, their hummus is the worst hummus I have ever tasted. Tasted like very plain canned food.

Great place and friendly people. Food was very good, worth the walk to the end. Nice environment. I love how it feels shielded from the normal street scene

Nice small restaurant at the end of Saint Vincent’s Court. Good food. Good service. Friendly staff. Sitting outside provides a nice downtown vibe. Prices are reasonable and the food quality is true arab/middle eastern. I would come back. We got the kabob plate, taboolah, and sea bass.

Slow service. Wouldn’t recommend.

Slow service. Wouldn't recommend. I don't understand why it took more than 15 minutes to make shawarma and no one was around.
