Pains me to write this, but what happened to this location?! This is the first location I ever had a mochinut... I remember it vividly because it was tied to a very sentimental day spent in DTLA... but my recent experience was so utterly disappointing. I can't vouch for this location anymore. The donuts were served stale and soggy! It was also super greasy which means the oil wasn't hot enough when they were fried. The store was very humid so maybe that impacted the quality... but if that is the case, they should not be fried and left on the bakers racks like that. My mochinut tasted like oily flavorless goo. What happened?!

Tried it today and nothing was fresh not even the corn dog I've had from different locations and I've had it freshly made everything from the cereal on the mochinuts to the chips on the corn dog was stale wouldn't recommend this location of mochinut

Great spot downtown for some boba drinks or donuts! They have really cool donut flavors here. Store is pretty small just a few tables. I liked the ube drink with boba. The boba tasted a little weird kind of chalky. My drink came with boba which was nice.

Wow! First time eating at mochinut donut and they are so soft! Got an assorted half dozen. The homer simpson is by far the best! The ube was really delicious. Wasn't a fan of the churro. The coffee didnt have much of a coffee flavor. Will definitely come back and try different ones.

The food is good here but DAMN for the prices they are charging having a little customer service. Dude working there looked pissed I came in to get anything. I was the only person in the store and he didn't come to take my order until I knocked on the glass. I then waited for my 1 corn dog and 1 mochinut...... 17 minutes.

The cook is bad. I paid 20.00 for old Grease Korea dogs. They do not know how to cook.Nasty food!

As a passionate foodie and a lover of all things sweet, my visit to Mochinut was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the shop, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked donuts, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary adventure. The star of the show at Mochinut is, undoubtedly, their signature mochi donuts. These treats are a perfect fusion of traditional American donuts and Japanese mochi, resulting in a texture that is uniquely chewy, soft, and utterly delectable. Each donut is a masterpiece of flavors and textures, leaving your taste buds dancing with joy. What truly sets Mochinut apart is their innovative approach to flavors. I had the pleasure of tasting a variety of their offerings - from the classic glaze, which was a perfect balance of sweet and savory, to the more adventurous flavors like matcha, ube, and black sesame. Each flavor was distinct, rich, and satisfying, showcasing the creativity and skill of their bakers. The shop itself exudes a cheerful and cozy ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a quick treat or a leisurely snack. The staff at Mochinut deserve a special mention for their friendly and attentive service, enhancing the overall experience. For anyone with a sweet tooth or a penchant for trying new and exciting flavors, Mochinut is a must-visit. It’s not just a donut shop; it’s a celebration of flavors, textures, and culinary artistry. I left with a happy heart and a satisfied stomach, already planning my next visit! ?

The mochinut was delicious, & the drinks too, love the packaging the only thing was the the worker was moody didn't really felt welcomed, hopefully that changes , we also asked about the parking since we saw that they cover for 5 mins the guy just said no & we left. Great spot for the desserts but definitely work on making your guests feel more welcomed

I haven't had mochinut donuts in about a year and was driving by today and stopped in to get some. I ordered 6 donuts and a Thai tea. The donuts were old tasting. Cold, greasy and almost stale somehow. I've left out these donuts for a couple of days before and they never tasted as bad as they did for ones I bought SAME DAY. The Thai tea was also extremely disgusting. It was a mucous like texture so it was thick and way too sweet. I thought I was going crazy so I let my friend have some and he thought the same thing about it. Not sure what is going on with it today or if they just went downhill, but I don't think I'll go back to that location ever again unfortunately.
