No hash browns. There is no bread with the borscht, only a small piece of bun and not lard, but thinly sliced bacon. The prices are not cheap.

What a delicious restaurant with authentic Ukrainian food. We traveled here from the Bay Area and were shocked to find a place that served only Ukrainian dishes. We got the varenyky with cabbage, borscht, Syrniki with custard, holubtsi , kompot (juice from berries) and nalisniki (crepe with chicken and mushroom. Everything was perfect. The service was also great, the server was attentive and he always made sure we enjoyed everything. Everything was very clean and well decorated. I love the Ukrainian music as well !! :)

Lovely place, people and food. I was biking along the Ballona Creek and about a mile from the Marina stopped at this charming place. It couldn't have been any better!

The food is FANTASTIC! The people are very nice and helpful, cute place, and I was happy to try something new. It's a little on the pricey side for what you get, but I will 100% go back!

Seating outside (a few inside spots) in a quiet, less traveled area very near Ballona Creek and bike trails. A large, painted water fountain across the street in Fountain Park. The crepes, like blintzes, were delicate, light and tasty. There were several choices of filling. Many more hand made meals to eat there or bring home. They cater too.Parking: Parking on street can be a little hard to find. There's two handicap spots in the front.Kid-friendliness: There's a wooden rocking horse outside.Wheelchair accessibility: One level, on street, very easy to access.

Came here with a friend and split the pelmeni with beef (beef dumplings). It's a good size for one hungry person or two not-so-hungry people! I felt the dish was so unique because of the sauerkraut and the sour cream that it comes with. I can't say I've ever had Ukrainian food before, and this really left a good impression! Next time, I plan to come hungry and try more of their dishes. There is some parking on the side of the restaurant. We sat outside by a heater. There are only a few seats inside.

**February 2024: Monday Night Visit** I've never had Ukrainian food so when my friend asked if we could try it I was on board! Parking is a challenge given the location of the restaurant. However, after driving through several streets we eventually found street parking and walked over. The shop itself is small, but homey. There were three tables inside with 2 chairs a piece. My friend and I decided to share the following to get a taste of the culture. Food Borsht ($18) - Beetroot cabbage soup - This soup had a beautiful purple/pink color and was a great way to warm up on a cold day. Caesar Chicken Salad ($18): The dressing was tossed well with the lettuce and spread evently throughout the dish. The chicken was also moist, not dry and worked well with everything. Varenyky with Potatoes ($22): Dumplings with a thick potato and mushroom filling. This was extremely hearty and flavorful. I think among all the dishes I would happily order this again. Syrnyky with Custard ($14) - 3 mini cottage cheese pancakes - I ordered this as a dessert to end the meal, but didn't care for the pancakes. It was really dense, but lacked flavor even with the custard sauce. I only ate the fruits that it came with. Summary Overall, it's a cute authentic mom n' pop shop in Los Angeles and I think it's a welcomed addition to the neighborhood!
