Overall it was good full of flavor. Chips and salsa was fresh. The tlayuda mixto was delicious. The chorizo torta was also very good. The pozole however was lacking, the broth was extremely water downed, no flavor at all. Easy way to tell was the homeny was small and not soft, the meat bland, trying to cook quickly which is not something you can do with pozole. Easily the worst pozole I ever had. Overall food tends to be very good, we have visited few times, just this time pozole was a HUGE miss.

Brilliantly fresh food with an excellent array of flavors including five different moles. Tina, the warm and efficient waitress invited us to saMple a few moles. Their deep rich black mole. Is. Astonishing. And you can get any mole served as a sauce on a. “wet” burrito (as big as a midget submarine.”

I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and I was disappointed once again. The Yellow mole had little Flavor and even though it was a full entrée, there was only small pile of rice, and not a bean or garnish in site. I don’t think I can come back again. The waitress never came to see how we were doing or so we could order a side of beans!

Food is Bland, meaning there's no taste, had the concume de pollo, basically cubs of uncooked chicken with water and onions, how they are staying in business is unbelievable. Overpriced, overhyped, stay away until the menu is changed.

I LOVE this restaurant! This authentic Oaxacan restaurant is a precious LA gem with amazing customer service and delicious Mexican food. The servers speak both English and Spanish and are always ready to help you in any way they can. The food and drinks are always delicious and much tastier than any Oaxacan restaurant that I’ve tried in Los Angeles. Parking is can be a little tough since it’s located on a strip mall but nearby parking meters are available as well. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping here for an authentic and delicious Mexican meal. I’m a big fan of their delicious Jamaica and mole. So good!Vegetarian options: I had the Chile relleno with rice and beans and it was delicious! Ask the server if you have any concerns about vegetarian dishes, they are very helpful!Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly place. I’ve always seen families dining here together.

Great for groups and enough room for kids. We had the tamales de mole, empanada de amarillo, queso fundido, and all were delicious. Definitely come here with an open mind because Oaxacan cuisine is its own thing.

Nice little place to eat. The food was OK but the cafe de olla was excellent. Next time, I am in LA. I will come here just for the coffee and pan.
