It’s a cute little spot to stop by and grab something sweet. It’s a small interior which is why I recommend to grab and go. I’m a sucker for anything strawberry so I had to try some strawberry roll cake and vanilla roll cake. The best thing in my opinion was that strawberry milk. So bomb! They do have a variety of options so worth checking them out.

They need a better operator! When I called first time she just hangs me up. When I call the second time to ask about whether they use whipping cream or topping cream, she just rudely says “I don’t know” and then hang me up. So unprofessional ?

Love their Custard and Red Bean Croissant Tayaki. The outer layer is sweet and crispy. The filling is soft and sticky. Together, so many flavors and textures!

So disappointed of this place. Order 2 drinks and 2 piece cakes. Drinks are overly sweet. Oreo cake are super dry and cheesecake has no taste. Green tea latte medium size is $7 dollars. So sweet and the matcha powder they are using is low quality. This place won’t last long for sure.

This is my first time tried the Crossiant taiyaki! Crispy & delicious! Love it! The drink bottle are so cute, I am a collector of drink bottles! They also have a promotio: when you ordered drinks with $4 more they give you the portable cute fan! Love it! Drinks are very original & fresh! I will definitely come back again for the milk carton bottles!

Loved it! Walk in and you're transported into a neat Cafe with a vibrant scenery that differs from the surrounding area. This is a true hidden gem. Ordered a Mocha Coffee and three different croisants, they were phenomenal, like nothing I've ever tried before. All of that while being assisted by the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. The type of bueaty that'll make your heart skip a beat. She was quick and very kind with her service. I highly recommend you try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Don’t know what happened, the reviews looked good so I tried it and the blueberry cake was one of the worst I’ve had at an Asian bakery/cafe, I had one bite and couldn’t finish it. pineapple slush was very mediocre and chunky- not fully blended. And worst was the service - the girl working this Monday was snotty and it was obviously a hassle for her to just hand us our order.

Mumu bakery is a solid spot for some unique pastries and tasty flavored milks. This was exactly what I got when I went, as my order was the strawberry milk along with the croissant taiyaki filled with Nutella. The strawberry milk was quite delicious although quite small and $8 which is definitely on the pricy side, and the Nutella croissant taiyaki was also very chewy and crunchy/flaky but was a tad too oily for my liking.

I visited this shop on a recent Uber order and the shop owner handed me a cream cheese treat while I waited.... and man what a pleasant surprise. Granted, this spot seems on the pricey side but I have to say, the selection of treats look amazing and tasty. They have such an eclectic variety. My sample was so delicious that my next visit here will be on my own. Great 1st experience. Can't wait for the next treat to try.. Went back for a freshly made cream cheese treat that was absolutely delicious ?? ??

A little surprised by the negative reviews. I came here after dinner while in the K-town area not expecting much since bakeries usually don't open late. On first impression, the store is really cute, though a bit small. As others as mentioned, yes the drinks are pre-made and prices are what you would expect for LA, but that doesn't mean it wasn't good. There were a variety of milk based drinks on display and the taiyaki croissants were still decently in stock even late at night. There were only two flavors out of stock. I got a banana milk can, which was visually very appealing and didn't taste like artificial banana. I do prefer banana milk to be more creamy, but overall I was satisfied. I tried a cream cheese taiyaki croissant, which was tasty and not stale as some reviews have mentioned. It's a huge portion and had a brown sugar coating. Would try again. The lady working the cashier was also friendly and welcoming.

The cafe is very cutely decorated. The display with the premade drinks is also very cute and they have tasty flavors. There's not many tables so I wouldn't recommend this as a hang out place. The croissant taiyaki are premade and sitting on a display. It's disappointing they're not made fresh. They just heat it up for you. I tried the custard and mochi. It's good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get another. It's a nice snack if you're in the area.

Yup. Tried the sweet potato flavored one n was right. The sweet potato is the best for me compared to the others.Sweet smooth textured sweet potato spread. Can't go wrong with it.A must try

Mumu showed up on my feed in the past but I haven't been to Ktown in a while, so I wasn't able to try the dessert spot until recently. First and foremost, the desserts here are so freaking pretty! After plating the taiyaki, I almost didn't want to eat any and ruin the beautiful display. But of course, my sweet tooth won out in the end, as it always does ;)Anyways, the pastries here are not your typical taiyaki. Rather, they're a croissant and taiyaki crossover, with a perfectly flaky croissant shell. There is also a variety of options for the filling, my favorites being the standard custard and sweet potato fillings. As for pricing, to be honest, the desserts were a bit costly, but it's a unique twist on a favorite Asian dessert that I haven't seen elsewhere, so I'm glad I tried it.Mumu also delivers via postmates, which is actually how I ended up finally trying the dessert spot, as I didn't feel like going all the way to Ktown that day. The bakery provided fantastic packaging and the desserts were still piping hot even after the 30-minute trek between pickup and drop-off.******************My Ratings:1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry.2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return.3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me.4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return.5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Ordered an Oreo Cake. icing was harder than The Rock himself, pound cake tasted expired, seems to have been left out for ages. Another recent reviewer said the same thing, so seems like a consistent problem.
