Great empanada shop and great price. Recommend the carne asada one. Samosa option doesn't have enough flavor.

Bland carnitas and beef jalapeño was better but could use some salsa- both very dry

First time coming here with my girlfriend, ordered a pepperoni and a dulce de leche empanada, the pepperoni tasted worse than a hot pocket it looked like they straight up microwaved it or took it out the freezer, it was cold and they were both hard, felt like I was biting a rock… also it was 12 bucks for 2 and a drink like cmon,?? not authentic at all

i tried the chicken empanada and my bf had the beef jalapeño empanada. both were good and were stuffed with the filling. i felt the chicken empanada was a tad dry though we came ~45min before they closed, so there wasn't much of a line. although they were closing soon, the empanadas still tasted pretty fresh

Friendly service, but neither of the empanadas I tried hit the spot, unfortunately. Now, take this empanada review from a pescatarian with a grain of salt - I haven't tried any of the meat empanadas, so I can only review the vegetarian options. The margarita empanada fell short of a pizza pocket and the vegetable empanada was lackluster. The crust was a bit too thick for my taste. Overall, decent enough to grab and go, but definitely not my favorite empanadas.

I love that they have a lot of unique kinds of empanadas! Some of them didn't pack the flavor I was looking for but the there were some that were just amazing.

The empanadas were really good, and the staff was really nice for giving us a free empanada after they accidentally gave us the wrong

Nona's Empanadas at Original Farmers Market: Dive into a world of flavors! Savory & sweet options abound. A definite must-try! ? #EmpanadaHeavenParking: Lots of parking, but it is pretty expensive. There is a parking garage for the mall next door that is slightly cheaper.

I really like that they stamp each empanada with what's inside. Such a relief to be able to vote in with confidence! Friendly servers are happy to explain stuff. All of the vegetarian options are good, although they need sauce to bring out the flavor. That's partly because they're baked not fried so you don't get the oily richness. I actually like them better this way. They're served in compostable boxes, which is great. Prices are reasonable for the location (it's not an actual farmer's market). It's grab and go but you can sit near other stalls, and the stores just outside the tented area have restrooms. Do not attempt to order a cab to it from here, they have no way to locate you. Best to really leave the area to an actual street.

Full of flavor, soft but with a little crispiness, cheesy, I could go on and on! They really know their dough because it was able to hold such unique dishes inside. Our favorite was the Cuban! Delicious Delicious Delicious! Can't wait to go back with the family and have them try this restaurant.
