Anyone know what's in the 7 sea food soup? Love to try to make it at home. Also the chow mein ?

They got run for your money! this order cost $80 plus tax. GO eat somewhere! It not worth your money! The lady owner will let you pay first the whole order before they sit you so when you get your food and complain you don't have any choice because it's been served already. They don't give receipt as well unless u bugged them many times for it. The servers were really nice and accommodating in fairness. They used the Seedap Malaysian Instant noodles for their chow mien! We exactly knew it because I've been buying this instant noodles a lot and have it at home the taste is exactly the same and texture of the noodles are the instant noodles in the package. They just add vegetables. The Mongolian Beef you will noticed how thin and only very few pieces of the beef mostly vegetables served in a small plate. Looks like the beef they used were the dried ones so it is cheaper. Also the same thing with the Sweet and Sour Pork it should be called Sweet and Sour Vegetables because tiny little pieces of pork then all veggies. Although the food is tasty the meat they used and the noodles are NOT restaurant grade just unacceptable for charging that much for each single order. The only thing I commend them is the fried rice.

This was my spot to come every time I came to LA.But there is something i saw the last time i came here that disgusted me and made me question what happens in the kitchen where we can't see them.I SAW A KITCHEN WORKER COME OUT OF THE RESTROOM WITH GLOVES ON AND GO BACK INTO THE KITCHEN.Now imagine what other disgusting practices happen in the back where you can't see!

My family and I have been going to the Ocha's restaurant on 5189 Sunset Blvd. for many years. We like the food; however, we noticed that they add a 10% service fee and demand you pay for it. What is more important, they don't tell you about it, and expect a tip on top of it. Often, they bring you the total of the bill, but not the itemized version, it's their way of adding fees to what you consume. My family and I made the decision, after today, February 3, 2024, never to return. BTW, did you know that it is now illegal for restaurants to add hidden fees like the 10% service fee they hide on your bill at this restaurant? Look closely at your bill next time, and ask what the fee is for and ask them why they charge it when it is now illegal. bon appetit!

This place use to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants. I haven’t been here in years, today (1/1/2024) was the first time in over 10 years since I’ve been to Ocha. Probably never going back again either. When I tell you the customer service was horrible, I am not lying. The older Asian lady with a bob haircut had the absolute worst attitude. She got our order wrong and got mad when we told the server. She gave us dirty looks and stared the whole time we ate our food until we left. We couldn’t enjoy our food because every time we turned and looked up the woman was giving my family and I dirty looks. The food quality was okay, use to be delicious back 10 years ago. The customer service absolutely SUCKS. Never coming back here.

They sold me an expired soda from 2022 and I didn’t notice until my kid finished it. The manager did not want to issue any refund and wanted to give me a soda for free. She told me it was the manufacturers fault not

I have been frequenting this restaurant for years. Over 10 years. And every time the food is delicious. Their establishment is always clean. The service is excellent. Waiters are polite and humble, please be kind they hard working people. The wait time ,even during their busiest hours, is pretty quick compared to places like Olive Garden. I recommend this restaurant. Also, they use real seafood for their spicy seafood soup. Ive visited other Thai restaurants and they use imitation crab in their soups, which is why I make the two hour drive to visit this restaurant no other has come close to their food quality, in my opinion.Parking: This location is in a shopping center, there is parking but not many spots available. You do have the option to park on the street but make sure to check for street parking sign as some area require u to have a permit to park on the street.

People!!, pay attention to this restaurant! First, they posted in the menu in VERY SMALL letters, " there's a 10% extra charge for dine in orders ". Which means , the tip will be included and many people doesn't know about it and leave extra tip. Second, they write and deliver your check in their lenguaje ( Thai) which means , you never know what did you ordered and what is worse, they include dishes that you never ordered! And honestly for me , is a way to steal your money! It happened to mi many times until I noticed and I talked to smiths server and she didn't even know what to say about it. Not even "sorry "

The food tastes very good, the staff is friendly, the only bad thing is the place since it is small and doesn't look comfortable, the bathrooms are ugly.

It used to be one of my favorite places to eat Thai food for years, but not anymore. The last few times we've been there, the seafood soup has mostly fish. It only comes with 1 shrimp, but this time, I complained, and they added it 2 more shrimps, so the experience was not pleasant. Also, I don't know if the food has too much sodium or MSG, but we feel so thirsty every time we eat at this place. On the weekends, you have to wait in line outside the place because it gets too crowded. I have found better places to eat Thai food than the ocha restaurants.
