second time at brera. great service, good ambiance. pork shank - still yummy! they currently serve it with polenta, which i don't like, so i asked to sub it for the roasted potatoes they have on the menu (dleiocious!!). the kale this dish came with was good too. a friend got the lamb chops - good! nothing super special, but a solid lamb chop. ny steak - we didn't like it. there was a flavor to it that we thought was a bit odd, but at the same time also tasted flavorless. we added salt/pepper but still not great for us. however, potatoes + veggies were delicious tagliatelle bolognese - yummy! not the best bolognese i've ever had but very solid. good texture to the pasta, well seasoned and flavored. their bolognese has mushroom flavors to it. idk if they actually put mushroom in it but that's the flavor i got overall, a good spot for dinner! i would recommend. they have valet as well so parking is convenient. they even added a candle to the desert as they knew it was a birthday!

My experience here bad. The food had no flavor and was over priced. Also the service was not great and the restaurant was not over crowded at all. The bolognas pasta was not tasteful it was over whelmed by a greasy meet taste. The $78 ribeye steak was underwhelming and not worth the price. Ambiance was blah. The waiters did not come by often so order/ask for what you need while you have them at your table. Parking double charged me so my bank locked my card due to suspicious actions by the Valet pay thru text system. Please consider other restaurants for this price. The Vibe was not here at all.

Great ambiance, good service, valet parking. Food was average considering the price. I ordered the bone marrow saffron risotto which was okay. The beef raviolis, shaped a bit like dumplings was plentiful however had little flavor. Perhaps other menu items are better.

4 1/2 stars so let's just round up to 5. This place was great! Ambiance was perfect, large open warehouse and yet intimate. Service was speedy and our server shared great recommendations on what to order. The octopus was probably my favorite, it was cooked to perfection and had a nice amount of char on it. The other dishes were very tasty as well. They have a great wine selection and their cocktails are delicious. The tiramisu was just okay, would not order again but the pistachio ice cream was delightful. Valet parking was very convenient and if you plan on staying more than an hour I recommend it.

Service was great. Our server was fantastic. Good guy. Cocktails were ok. Pretty good espresso martinis. Flower Child doesn't have enough Fernet in it to even bother listing it. Food is pretty whatever. Nothing was good enough to come back for. Nobody was really excited. Meh.

I had lamb chops because I thought they would be very good with a kiss of the wood fire Unfortunately no such flavor was in evidence and the double chop on the plate was raw The veggie s accompanying were very good but all in all just a MEH meal for me

Four of us gals met for lunch out in the patio on a gorgeous CA day. The ambience was quiet (we were the only group outside). The food was delicious! We ordered an appetizer, bread, two salads and two pastas and a bottle of rose and split it amongst the four of us. That was perfect - no leftovers or wasted food. Pricing was ok for a "fancy" restaurant.

Pasta and pizza dishes taste like home cooking.Like fusion cuisine these days, the food is not spicy and has a light feel.

Perfectly located in the arts district, convenient for anyone that is looking to do something afterwards, walk across the new bridge that was recently built, hangout at a bar, etc. The food here was delicious, we ordered so much food it's hard to keep track of everything. I especially loved my plate of tagliatelle and their bolognese sauce. Next think I knew it was gone! For dessert I ordered their pana cotta, loved it. Though next time I would go for their ice cream, because that was super delicious. Their gnocchi was fresh and I indulged every last bit of it. Needless to say the service, presentation of food, and location was perfect. If you love Italian food, this is definitely a place to consider!

Thanks Matteo, Angelo and Francine! Tagliatelle and Barolo very good

I'm not one to usually give reviews but I was not pleased. We liked the atmosphere and the service was fantastic, but I was really underwhelmed with the pasta. My husband felt the same about his steak. It was cooked the way he likes but lacked any type of flavor. Also, I used my debit card at the valet when we left. I woke up to find the my card had been charged an additional 4 times. I did not use the same card for dinner that I used in the valet. I recommend using cash.

One of our go to spots for large groups and small parties. The ambiance is great. The service is excellent and the food never disappoints. They have a great whiskey collection and wine options from old world to new. We had another great night.

Every course demonstrated great culinary skill; the service was authentic and attentive; the physical ambience is laudable . menu pricing is quite reasonable for the quality, ambience, and service.
