The olympic sandwich is so good I highly reccomend it. It tastes better than the traditional bahn mi yet it still maintains the familiar taste that we all know and love. The interior is also very clean and aesthetic so I would come back to try out the other sandwiches!

I have a dream world where there's an Open Market on every street and you can go in and buy one of their delicious sandwiches at any time. Until this dream is a reality, I will be at 99%. Make me full, Open Market! Please!

This place is really great but there is one person who really ruins the initial experience and that is one of their cashiers. He is never attentive when someone comes up to order and when you do finally get to order he is always looking into the distance and not paying attention to what you're saying. Please touch base with your employees on how they should be during customer interactions !

Love the sandwiches here. Favorites are the Olympic and Normandie. Their cookies are too delicious and coffee is tasty as well.

Very cute spot with delicious sandwiches. The cashier took the time to explain the sandwiches and complemented my shirt. I landed on the Normandie which comes with a delightful soy sauce - like au jus. He was right when he said this was filling. Though expensive at 16. My partner got the Olympic (14.75). He kept saying how delicious it was after every bite. The crispy chicken is citrusy and good. It adds the umami with perfect balance. The miso brown sugar cookie (4) went well with the coffee. We also ran into a friend who lived near by. His go-to is the classic breakfast bowl (10.75). Comforting for him. It was the first thing he thought of when he woke up. Open Market does feel like the type of spot you would run into friends. It was easy to get a table, it feels like people come and go making this on their list of places to visit on their busy day. Next time I want to try the Beverly (13.25) described by the cashier as a solid fried chicken sandwich, but using kewpie mayo.

Wonderful food I had today although the latte came out sour. I would 100% percent recommend except maybe the latte

Decent sandwich shop with cute korean grocery section. I liked the dipping sandwich. Parking lot door was locked when I tried to go back in so i had to walk around the building

Unassuming gem of a place with a clean vibe, friendly staff, and a banger chicken sandwich.

I love Open Market and can't believe I haven't written a review yet! The sandwiches here are so exquisite, and I just love the aura of the cafe. Something about it is upbeat, lively, and just a very safe space. I'm a big fan of their Hojicha Latte -- it's nutty and not too sweet. And of course, their sandwiches are such a standout. My favorite is the Olympic, but I also really like the Normandie one if you're looking for something with a lil more pizzazz. The Kenmore is also such a great tuna sandwich, if that is your thing!! I've also tried their breakfast sandwiches, which are also solid but every time I'm here I just tend to gravitate toward the lunch ones. It can get quite crowded here at times, so I wouldn't say it's the most optimal place to work or study, but such a solid spot to pick up breakfast or lunch. Def order ahead online if you are looking to be in and out of there quick. And if you're not seeing your order when you arrive, you should ask the staff because sometimes they have it stashed away.

I recently read the LA eater article about the best tuna melts in Los Angeles geles so I was curious to try their Kenmore sandwich. I'd rate it 4.5/5 although yelp doesn't do half stars so I'll round up because the staff were attentive and nice while the ambiance of the place was pretty cool and interesting. The sandwich itself was excellent, definitely above average and worthwhile but not mind blowing. The bread was the fantastic and every sandwich aficionado knows that the bread is the foundation of a good sandwich and the bread here was completely on point. It was toasted almost perfectly (it could have been more crisp) with enough butter to give it a richness without it being too greasy. It was also nicely soft with an excellent chew. The tuna itself was solid as well but I felt that it could have had more acid and dash more salt to really make the flavor richer and pop more. Regardless it was an excellent sandwich absolutely worth the price at only $14.

I stopped here on a whim, looking for a new nosh experience and found, what may be, the best chicken sandwich that I've ever had. I ordered "The Beverly" and received perfection in simplicity. The chicken was fried PERFECTLY and remained so tender and so juicy. The bun, yielding and possibly toasted, was the perfect complement to the mayo and slaw, portioned deftly and not overwhelmingly. The atmosphere was comfortable, stocked with locally brewed beer and sake, and the staff was kind and proud of their work, as they should be. I'm writing this, mere minutes after finishing my sando and am currently fantasizing about my next trip to repeat the experience. In a world where every restaurant thinks that they can competently build a passable chicken sandwich, Open Market soars above them all with mastery.

Not to be dramatic but, this kombucha/ chicken sandwich combo saved my life today. For context, I was hungover and hangry. I've had their wake n bacon sandwich before and experienced similar rejuvenating effects. But the crispy chicken sandwich was miraculously delicious. Perfect amount of mayo and bread + chicken + lettuce in every bite. I could have eaten a second one! This place really has everything a girl could want, cute + unique art on the walls, loads of interesting well-made wines from all around the world, yummy Korean flavored snack mix. (Changu) The staff are always friendly + welcoming + when they're busy the wait is bearable and I always leave feeling so grateful to have a spot like this in my neighborhood. If you're in the area or hundreds of miles away + looking for one of the best chicken sandwiches of your life, this is the spot.

Wow, I'm surprised it took us so long to order sandwiches from Open Market, but I'm glad we did. We ordered delivery but hopefully one day we get to visit the actual store - looks so nice. Our sandwiches were amazing! I got the Normandie and loved every component - the bread, brisket, pickled component, and sauces were all excellent, but the au jus was *chef's kiss*. My husband got the Olympic and loved it! He's a big fan of lemongrass and there are tons of herbs in this sandwich, along with chicken and crisp chicken skin. We also got smashed potatoes - loved the crispy on the outside, soft on the inside textures and the amazing sour cream and onion dip. 1000% would order again in a heartbeat.
