We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was crowded but not too noisy, everyone was enjoying themselves. The server was amazing and offered menu suggestions. I forgot the name of our appetizer but it was delicious! I danced at the table the whole meal because I enjoyed every part of it. Definitely lived up to expectations and I'd be back.

So glad I finally tried this place, everything was DELICIOUS. We tried multiple different dishes and all of them were a 10/10. Service was amazing, they were super friendly and attentive. We celebrated a birthday and they brought us a tiramisu with a candle which was lovely! The vibes were great, felt very homey and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

Great food and lovely service. Prices were fair and ingredients were fresh. The pizza was killer and I also had a beautiful beet salad that looked like art on the plate without breaking the bank.

Had a great meal at Oste last night. I was a little late for the reservation and they were very accommodating. The wine list was great, and they were very flexible in adjusting an entree to make it vegan! Cool spot with good vibes.

Who doesn't enjoy staring at an enlarged photo of Sophia Loren, who gave real meaning to real and enlarged. Sophia and the owner, Alessandro Iacobelli, will welcome you warmly. Walk in and say "What a cute place", and it is a cute place without being cutesy. Street parking allows you 2 hours all of which you'll need just to peruse the ambitious menu. The decor is Italo-chic. Spartan but cozy and charming. A few large photos (if you can pry your eyes away from a young Sophia). The lighting warms the dining room and the design of this little gem says authentic and comfortable. There is a Brass and Copper machine to make Espresso and impress oh, it's so Italian. You'll think you've clicked your heels and closed your eyes, and when you opened them, you're in Trattoria dall'Oste in Florence. And...Oste don't coste that much. You can pay much more and get much less around town. You have found a true find. The background music will have your finger poking your Shazam app with each new tune. It's not intrusive like so many places where the loop eclipses all conversation. Not here. It's nice background music. There is a lovely dining room with two and four tops lining the wall across from the Wine Bar and also a street side patio which makes the hustle of the streets fade away. Oste doesn't need a hostee as all the staff will greet you like a new puppy. Your table is ready and while you make your nest, menus appear, but no rush as the table is yours until you need help getting up. The Staff was genuinely happy to make sure you have a great time here with food and wine to match. Oste is so un-Roman too, where waiters are aimlessly roamin' and groanin' about being on their feet all night in pants too tight. This ain't that. Service is practiced and professional, helpful and just plain friendly plus the kitchen knows exactly what they're doing and will pace your meal carefully. The Bar is Beer (on tap), and a curated Wine list offers a great collection and all fairly priced. Now, we have arrived at the magic moment. What's to eat here? Everything! The kitchen is focused and energetic. Seasoned cooks seasoning dishes with confidence and fully capable of serving the best of Rome in LA. The Bread basket at $3 had me immediately. It is full of warm fresh baked stacked slices of delicious bread. It was like a Ciabatta and a Focaccia got sloppy on a Tinder date and created a love child. The secret is Rice Flour, Whole Wheat Flour, and 85% water to create a nice crust and irresistible chew. You're gonna need several baskets of bread to sop up everything on each new plate beginning with the herby olive oil underneath the Carciofi alla Giuda (fried baby Artichokes) as good as you get at Piperno's in Rome on the Sunday night buffet. The Artichokes are hot, crunchy and enhanced by Italian Parsley, Lemon, and a riff on Bagna Cauda (Garlic and Anchovies). You'll need two orders of this too. So, just unravel your travel plans and go to Oste. (Piperno's is too noisy and hard to find anyway). The Insalata di Radicchio e Finocchio has bites of Radicchio and sliced Fennel, Asian Pears, Gorgonzola and Candied Walnuts in a light Vinaigrette that supports the ingredients without overpowering them. More bread por favori, Cameriere. No dressing will be left behind. Now, you need to have a meat-a-ball. Three baseball sized beauties are exceptionally light and fluffy. The meat was handled just enough and isn't that what we yearn for...in a Polpettine? Other versions of this simple yet traditional dish are like gagging down river rocks. These Meatballs have been elevated to an art form. They are served with an intense Sugo di San Marzano Tomato, melted Stracciatella Cheese from Puglia and a sprinkle of Nigella Seeds. They were terrific. These Meatballs have balls and won't disappoint should you take one home and have it for breakfast with a Runny Egg the next day. Or, just hoover the lot with your third basket of Bread. The Pinsa (pizza) is

Authentic Italian dining experience! The restaurant was super packed, but the service and quality of the food was amazing. Started off our meal with the Homemade Bread and evoo for the appetizer. The bread was super warm and you can tell it was freshly made. The Battuda di Manzo (beef tartare) was made with Wagyu beef, shallots, parsley, and a quail egg. Super flavorful and delicious. The Rigatoni Cacio e Pepe was cheesy and had just the right amount of peppery flavor. Although it was a bit heavy, it was still really good and filling. The standout was the Sofia Mussels. The mussels were in a wine and garlic sauce and the sauce was very rich in flavor. Couldn't stop dipping the bread in this sauce! The food, ambiance, and service were all top notch! Highly recommend this spot for Italian and will be back for more mussels!

We had the most delightful experience at Oste. The food was exquisite; showcasing the true essence of Italian cuisine. The pinza, in particular, was a standout - perfectly baked and topped with delicious ingredients. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly kind and attentive, making our dining experience truly memorable. I can’t wait to return for another culinary journey.

Happy I found this place as it was SO GOOD! It was super busy at the time that we went but we were able to be seated immediately at the bar. Looking over the menu, I wanted to try everything but I settled on the beef tartare to start and my meal was the mortadella pizza. My boyfriend got the branzino which was great according to him and I think he'd get it again. Back to MY DISH! The mortadella was good and the focaccia under was soooooo so good. I wanted to finish it but I was just too full. Of course not TOO full so I could try the hazelnut gelato. Absolutely delicious! I can't wait to eat here again!

Loved the food!Service was odd, in that they try to do a good job, but then forget to bring things, dissappear for long periods of time, even finish their drink before helping you.

Hello S.

Ambience ruined by kids running all over the place with no parental nor staff control. I wa there for over an hour with screaming children in the front patio. Manager should have asked the parents to keep the kids at the table. Everyone is there to enjoy the ambience and food, it is not a day care center!!!! Food was soso... Service was not to par
