The food was amazing, but we felt really rushed which was disappointing when you’re eating a $200 meal. We drove up from San Diego specifically to go to a show and this restaurant. We decided to eat after the show so that we could take our time. I know it says they close at 9, and I’ve served before, but because it was such an expensive restaurant I assumed that just meant their last seating was before 9, as is the case at many nice places. We got there at 8:40 for our reservation, which again I normally wouldn’t do, but thought it was a last seating time, and although I requested outside when I made the reservation in advance, they said it wasn’t open. We’re very covid-cautious so it would’ve been nice if they’d emailed or called letting us know. We actually left the show early and wouldn’t have done that had we known. We reluctantly ate inside, but felt really rushed the whole time because apparently 9 is the actual closing time. Maybe it’s open table’s fault for allowing 8:45 reservations, but it wasn’t a $200 experience. The food and drinks were amazing though.

This place is nice. Never tried this kind of food. I got some place I don’t know the name I’ll attach the picture, but it was so good. Food is a bit pricey for the portions. Still nice place.

It took us way too long to come here, everything from the entrance to the service, mains, dessert, all was amazing.

The food was delicious but overpriced particularly the bread. One slice of bread with a small, mise en place dish of butter was $10. There were additional options for pate and bone marrow ($15-$16 respectively) but they too came in a small mise en place bowl with no bread. As a recap we spent $41 pre tax and tip for one side of bread with 3 small dishes of fat :D See photo. That said. Food was good. But definitely not getting any bang for your buck lol.The chicken was actually pretty spectacular.

Was here for a birthday. One of our orders was 40 minutes late, pretty much arriving while the rest of the group was finished eating. Food is tasty, but way overpriced for the miniscule portions. Not worth returning.

Great atmosphere. We sat on bar in front of wine cellar. Sweet potato gnocchi was delicious. Salmon tartare tasted great, squash was sweet, and whole grilled fish was simple and delicious. It was romantic wonderful time there.

Wonderful food in downtown LA. The only reason I didn't give five stars across the board is because our party of two was seated at a counter in front of the wine room, which meant we weren't able to talk without cranking our heads to the side. After an hour and a half of talking that way, we were incredibly uncomfortable. I would definitely refuse to sit there again. Our server seemed a bit harried and the service was slower than expected for such an expensive restaurant.

I had the grossest brunch here post-broad with my family. it’s pay before you’re seated situation now which was alarming. i wasn’t expecting a cafeteria flex.the restaurant had just opened and it was really dowdy. messy, dusty, sticky.we bought chicken strips for one of our two year-old and they were raw inside. they took it back (no refund, btw) and re-grilled it so that it was charred. we sent it back for new strips and they were so gross when they eventually returned.the burgers my husband and i ordered were sloppy.such a bummer. this was once an elegant, delicious joint.

Came to dinner at Otium post a Sunday concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall (WDCH) with friends who suggested Otium as our dinner stop and reserved. From the word welcome to Otin, as we walked in the experience was sublime. The seating just outside of the kitchen was amazing to watch. Our server was on point and all the support staff as well. We started our meal with 12 oysters, moved to the Pea Ravioli, then added some Naan bread (so delicious), then moved on to the main of the pork chop with potatoes and cauliflower sides. Finished with the best pineapple upside down cake I have ever had and this will go down as the best dinner I have had in Los Angeles bar none, combined with the ambiance and service, you all knocked it out of the park.

Another excellent dinner. Particularly liked the salmon and was in the mood for some red wine (unusual pairing), for which the sommelier made an excellent suggestion! The atmosphere was great with the right amount of bustle. One minor gripe - the bench seat backs are not as comfortable as they probably used to be due to age?
