This is the best espresso I’ve had in LA! Well balanced perfectly extracted fruity & acidic. Plus they serve it with a glass of sparkling water. Absolutely delightful!

I have found a legitimate broker who has helped me in so many ways in the aspect of forex & cryptocurrency. At first, I was really skeptical that it won't work but I still kept the faith going until I saw a recommendation about Mrs Craig Vanessa who changed my financial status from grass to grace. Once again I'm really grateful for your help and support towards me and my family in this tough time of the year. Baristas that act so aloof you'd wonder if they are weighted down by bricks so they don't float away.Food that's so good it makes up for the above!Nestled in the heart of mid-city, Paper or Plastik Cafe marries the essence of an artful dance studio with the rustic charm of a modern industrial space, crafting an ambiance that's both inviting and eclectic. Their breakfast burrito, a culinary delight that captures the vibrant spirit of California's seasonal produce, is a standout—a testament to the cafe's commitment to freshness and flavor. Accompanying this is their oat milk latte, a silky smooth concoction that showcases their mastery in the art of third-wave coffee. Each sip is a homage to the meticulous journey from bean to cup, making it more than just a beverage but an experience. Paper or Plastik Cafe transcends the typical cafe narrative, offering a space where food and culture intertwine, leaving an indelible mark on the palate.Come often enough and you will see celebs.

The best cafe in LA. Fight me.

Was recommended this place by a friend for the ambiance. Don't come here on the weekends if your goal is to focus on anything--the dance studio nextdoor blasts music so loud that I was forced to listen to them even through my noise-canceling headphones. Completely took me out of the vibe and any work I wanted to get done. The floor was literally shaking from the volume, and it was even worse because the music continuously changed back-to-back from classical to heavy EDM, so it was incredibly distracting. Good coffee and food, though.

Used to love coming here as part of a visit to LACMA. But the food isn't what it used to be, and the service is now awful. New management? Very long wait for a simple breakfast order, so my coffee got cold, but they insisted on charging me for a second cup. They just claimed that they were very busy, even though it was a Monday at 1p and fully onethird of the tables were empty.

Plenty of space for your laptop, yourself and your friends , and of course, delicious coffee and food. The ambience is so cute. If I want to work overtime in the weekend, this is my go toplace always ❤️ love the fact that they open at 8 am in the morning ! A wonderful jumpstart to any day of the week ? ☕️

Whoa! Just moved into the neighborhood and was so excited to come here. Until, the woman making the drinks was so rude to me, my boyfriend as well as the gentleman who had a question about his food. Why? What a shame. I really wanted this to be my new neighborhood coffee spot.

The food is okay, a bit overpriced, but the staff is awful here. It's like they all hate their jobs or have no idea what they are doing. I also think their "no laptop" signs are rude.

Stopped in here on my way to work to grab something to eat. Ordered a yogurt bowl because, at $15, it was one of the less expensive things on the morning menu, and I figured it'd be the quickest option to go, but I ended up waiting over 20 minutes. I asked staff if they could check on it; they would pop into the kitchen then avoid coming back to me with any kind of update. When I finally got to work and opened the bowl, it featured a genuinely comical portion of yogurt. Maybe half a cup? Silly place. I don't recommend it.

Had the avocado toast. Very tasty but just a little too busy. It's a cross between take out and dine in. You go to a line like a fast food place but you sit and eat like a restaurant. But I definitely would return.

Great atmosphere and beautiful place! The food is a bit overpriced but is tasty. I was disappointed with the Almond Pear Tart since it was overcooked and more of a cake pie rather than a custard. The various types of iced lattes are interesting like the Rose latte (in picture). Cool spot!

Great vibe - creative reclaimed industrial awesomeness. Feels a little like a burningman camp. You’ll feel at home. Miso glazed salmon was divine.
