This review goes out to the Burger Pop up "For the Win" that has taken the space of Papilles. I looooove smash burgers and this spot has to be the best spot for a classic smash burger in all of Los Angeles. The burgers are classic and simple, and are just out of this world here. The crispy edges of the beef are so delicious and it pairs perfectly with the light potato bun. You can dress these burgers up with fixings like bacon, but the classic single cheeseburger is the way to go for me. The fries here are also amazing, similar to the thin a crispy vibe of McDonalds fries, but these are in a whole different league. Can't wait for my next burger from here.

The Joint Formerly Know As Papilles, now For The Win, is the best burger in Los Angeles County. Challenged only by their Chicken Sandwich, it is a delight to patron this neighborhood staple as you know you will get quality and quantity.

This is NOT closed. They are now called For The Win. And serving the best burgers in the neighborhood. I freaked out when I saw this listed as closed. Again, they may not be doing business as Papilles, but they are definitely OPEN.

This places operates as a ghost kitchen for For The Win hamburgers. This is the best hamburger in LA and in the country. I ate at 6 out of 10 of LA Eaters top 10 list and ate at many of George Motz's spots in Hamburger America from Illinois all the way to California. These are the most juicy and flavorful burgers. Don't even bother going anywhere else.

This restaurant is my preferred one. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very cordial and the food they place on your table is so yummy. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I was captivated by his honesty and the intensity with which he approached his work. Without a doubt, I'll be doing my grocery shopping at a different store next week. Otherwise everything I've had there has been good. And they have a large selection of wines. If your schedule is flexible go in the middle of the afternoon after the lunch rush. Try it I think you'll like it.

I went here after work with my friend who has been telling me about their burgers for a month. Finally went and got their Triple Cheese burger and fried chicken sandwich and a bottle of the mexi coke with a side of fries. I I had the fried chicken sandwich second but I had the burger first but let's talk about the chicken sandwich. I looked at it and it was okay looking like presentation was what you would expect. Pickles sauce and chicken. The chicken was breast meat and it looked like the fried coating was coming off as if it was shaken too hard or not covered enough. But looks can be deceiving! I hit into it and wow the flavor was definitely there! Very good! Crisp piece of fried breast meat and the buns which is probably potato bread brought it home for me! Next to the burger, my friend was hyping me up. I unraveled the parchment paper and quickly got smacked by the aroma of the beef and cheese and onions! Smelled very delightful! Took a bite finally and wow I can understand why my friend was in love with this burger. For a smash burger it was very juicy, very aromatic and most of all very very good! The sauce and the pickles just amplified and made the grass fed ground beef taste even more delicious! The onions I could do without but they still played their part and it was good with the burger! Hands down must say you have to go here if you want some good smash burgers!

Last week on a Sunday afternoon, I visited this wine store. The server was well-versed in the menu and the wine list. I was ecstatic to discover that he was the proud owner of at least one of the world's finest red wines. The seafood dinner was much better than my lunch. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know!
