Nayos has eaten here and ruined the food. However, this place is really chic, cute, and clean.

Staying nearby so Pico Cafe was an easy walk. Read several good reviews so I thought I was on to a hidden gem. I was wrong. Terribly over priced menu. All the breakfast items were $15 & up. I had eggs, potatoes, a little salad and a bagel, it was $18 bucks. Badly scrambled eggs, potato cubes ( hash browns?), A dinky barely dressed salad and a dry "bagel". 18 bucks! No coffee refill offered, had to ask for cream cheese for the 'bagel' and ask for the check to leave. Not sure what restaurant all the rave reviews came from, but I find it hard to believe it was the Pico Cafe.

Stoped for some breakfast. Really enjoyed the lox with avocado on a toasted bagel. Very fresh lox and the bagel was delicious. The service was great. So many choices in the neighborhood, I’m happy we stopped here

OK so maybe not the nicest place on the block or even on Pico. but the food is good and its quiet so that makes it perfect for meetings. And also super easy to park. and not crazy expensive.Dietary restrictions: Its kosher

There are plenty of bad restaurants in LA, but I've never felt the need to go out of my way to negatively review any of them; Pico Cafe, however, is extremely deserving of this. Easily the worst breakfast place I've ever come across, it was so disgusting I actually wish it had been bland. Avoid the omelettes at all costs. They must be paying for fake reviews because there's no way people are actually enjoying this garbage.PS: After looking at some other negative reviews, it seems the owner likes to respond to them himself by calling them "irresponsible" and blaming his staff. Sounds like a classy guy, makes sense why this business is the way it is

I've been coming to this place for over 15 years. I used to love it. In the last year, I've given them a few chances and I've left upset every time. The service, the quality of food, the portions, and the prices have all changed and are totally absurd. The waiters are extremely rude and impolite and make you feel that you are bothering them every time you ask them for something. (I gave up on extra sauces and dressing after asking 3 times for it and never getting it). Every time I go now, they tell me I am going to have to wait over an hour for my food because they have a lot of take-out orders to take care of. (Why accept dine-in if you can’t provide food within the hour?) They don’t even greet you or smile when waiting on you. And if you aren't happy with the service, you have no choice but to pay 18% tip to them (written in small on the menu). Beyond sick of kosher establishments taking advantage of Jewish people because we have no choice but to eat their food, pay their prices, and accept their terrible service. I could go on and on about all of my multiple terrible experiences here. Definitely never going back.
