Edited for recent visit on 2/7/24:Finally got to try the malai pasta. It did not disappoint in flavor and was fantastic. I think adding some meatballs would further elevate this dish with some protein. Lamb sliders were also super tasty. The pizza was fine but was made better by dipping it in the malai pasta sauce. The staff were gracious and helpful. Significantly improved from my previous visit. Would come back.Malai pasta: 4.5/5Lamb sliders: 4.5Green tikka pizza: 3.5Old review:I’ll admit we didn’t have the pasta. Between the pizza, wings, and something else we had we left feeling pretty underwhelmed. We asked a couple next to us about their wings which were different than ours and their response was a similar “meh”.Indian food and Italian food should be full of flavors, this fusion of flavors seemed to be meant for the palate of someone who had never had any ethnic food. I appreciate the attempt, but I felt it was poorly executed. I might give them a try again as it has been awhile.

What an interesting concept of Indian and Italian fusion!!! So many flavors going on and yet it all works. Highly recommended if you love either of these cuisines.

Do not go there with Kids as soon as they see that you have kids they will tell you they have a two hour wait we’ve tried to do this multiple occasions and we’ve even tried to break up our parties but the second they see that you have a kid, they will deny you service

My recent visit to Pijja palace left me utterly disappointed. The food was not only overpriced but also lacked any semblance of taste. It's disheartening to pay a premium for dishes that failed to deliver on flavor. The menu promised an exquisite culinary journey, but what I received was far from it. Moreover, the portion sizes were inadequate considering the hefty prices. I regret spending my hard-earned money on such a lackluster dining experience. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and strives to improve the quality of their offerings. If you are indian, this place is no where closer to indian taste. I waited 35 min for nothing.

The menu is hugely over-priced and gimmicky hipster-bait. The pizza was especially mediocre, I’ve had much better frozen pizza from Trader Joe’s… go for a beer and wings, go have lunch or dinner elsewhere

1yr back we went to the restaurant, the food was good and the service even better. But over the year, they have completely degraded their management and food quality. I would highly recommend to save your money and go to some better places in Culver City for better food. These guys just creat hype with decent marketing for their restaurant, but Pijja palace is a big NO!

19% service fee added to all orders and a super rude attitude about it. In the my rent it says“you can fly your as out of here if you don’t like it”

Had dinner here recently, if you know what you want you may enjoy it! Though we had a few surprises during our experience which I'd like to share so you can make your own decision:- Reserve online for seating, can get packed- 19% service charge. Does not explain why (healthcare? living wage? No explanation. So on a $100 bill you will pay $19 for...I don't know?- At least where we were seated, it was LOUD. I felt like I had that disorder where you hear voices!- We had the rigatoni, it was great- The okra tots are terrible but look great. Cooked okra should be tender, and the bitterness leaves. Undercooked is stringy and bitter.- Service is great, very positive and attentive waiterAnyways, just wanted to weigh in, we visited based on the hype and it certainly was...hyped! Times are tough we need to make our dollars count, you can save on this one :)

First 5 star rating I believe I have given. This was truly a great experience. You may have to wait a little and parking is tough but it's all worth it. Also everything is spice forward. As long as you understand that this is the right place to be.

We started with the lamb sliders which were my favorite, a MUST get. Really enjoyed the Malai rigatoni and our custom pizza with paneer also. The buffalo wings were ok and super spicy (for me). Overall I enjoyed the fusion of the Indian and Italian flavors!

Don’t be ridiculous - make a reservation!!! I’m sure you won’t have a good dining experience waiting in a walk in line for hours just to sit uncomfortably at the bar. Is it almost impossible to get a reservation? Yes. But still take the time to look because it’s worth sitting down and enjoying your food during your reserved allotted slot time.Service - our server was really nice! He explained everything really well. We wanted to build our own pizza but we weren’t huge fans of our pizza in the end because we didn’t really care for his recommendations on topping with the sauce choice. He definitely checked in on us often. We sat on the right side of the restaurant and the tables are practically on top of each other. Jammed packed in. And since I sat on the non-booth side, my chair was constantly getting bumped into, and I was even scooted in close to the table. But overall enjoyed our dinner experience.Food - don’t question it, get the onion rings! The batter was flavorful and the onion cooked properly but that sauce… that sauce it comes with, makes it! They charge for extra sauce btw. I enjoyed the Caesar salad, my friends said it was just okay. The lamb sliders are delicious. Amazing flavors and ingredients combo and cooked so well. Rigatoni was good, nothing great. It was too spicy for me too so I couldn’t enjoy as much. Pizza wise, other than my comment above, I’d most likely try one of their own creation ones next time. The cookies and cardamom, yummmm! I wanted my own. I love cardamom flavor though so I thoroughly enjoyed this dessert.Parking - super tiny lot with tiny free parking spaces. Luckily pulled up as someone was leaving. My friends parked along the street. So there’s some side street parking and also meter street parking too.
