The food is delicious and the customer service is bomb.com. I always come for the vegetarian ramen . But the sushi is delicious and stir fried udon is also tasty. I recommend it all! Thank you Pisces poke

The poke is fresh, light and filling. I enjoyed it, but for the price I wouldn't consider it a 5 star.

This food is SO SO good! The owner really cares about getting you the best food exactly how you want it. Love this El Sereno gem! I originally went there for the Poke but the teriyaki chicken is incredible, too!

Great food but has gotten expensive because of inflation. Still amazing tho!

Butter Blue Crab & Shrimp is my go to, but I've yet to taste a bad plate. It's a bit pricey but once you taste it, you will definitely feel like it's worth it. Soy rice is a MUST.

Wow, been coming here since they first open. And the amount of food and the quality just keep dropping! Look at the amount of Cashu now! Ridiculous!

Hello my Yelpies,IF YOU WANT AUTHENTIC POKE? YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE. I've been searching long and hard for an authentic Hawaiian poke bowl for the longest time. I am looking for something that is just fish and sauce, i don't want all the unnecessary items, like peas, crab meat, etc. If you are like me than Pisces is the place to go. Parking here isn't too much of a headache, there's plenty of spots right in front. And you know it, I came here for one thing and one thing only. POKE! I must say if you like spicy you have to try their ALWAYS SPICY. That is definitely my go to order. It comes with delicious chewy rice along with some edamame and if I'm feeling a little extra I will order their masubi which are both bomb af!!! Service is great as well! I can't wait to come back again. Overall, 5 stars for food and service.

I recently had the opportunity to try the delicious offerings at Pisces Poke and Ramen, and I must say, the food is outstanding. However, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the overall cleanliness of the establishment, as it significantly impacted my dining experience. While the flavors were on point, the ambiance left much to be desired. The cleanliness issue was hard to overlook; it almost felt like there was a layer of grime covering the park-like benches and even the walls. The white decor, though initially attractive, unfortunately accentuated the dirtiness, creating an uninviting atmosphere. The front partition, particularly around the register, seemed neglected and hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. This raised concerns about the overall hygiene of the restaurant. If the front of the house is in this condition, one can't help but wonder about the cleanliness standards in the kitchen and other areas. It's disheartening to see such a fantastic food spot not living up to its full potential due to cleanliness issues. I believe a little effort in maintaining a cleaner environment would make Pisces Poke and Ramen a much more appealing place to dine. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns to heart, as I would love to return for the incredible food in a more inviting setting. In summary, great food, but the cleanliness concerns need urgent attention to enhance the overall dining experience.

We used to get the Actually Spicy Tuna and Salmon poke from Pisces at least once a week, sometimes twice. It was amazing, and the best poke around. Now all of a sudden the portions are much smaller (yes, the price is lower, so that's not the problem), and they also don't offer tuna at all, and replaced the tuna with scallops. We've been told it's because Tuna is more expensive, and they also made it smaller so the price point is lower and more accessible... just disappointed because we loved it as it was (as did many, see reviews). We would've been happy to pay more for the tuna, but we weren't given that option. Similarly if they wanted to create a lower price option they certainly could have done so, while still keeping the larger choice for those that were happy paying more for a larger portion.I've had the scallops a few times, and really just don't like them. This went from being my favorite lunch spot to a disappointment. If it's not broke, don't fix it, right? Expand your menu with less pricey options but don't take away the things that work and that people have been raving about for years. Bummed!

I tried this place a couple years again and remember liking it a lot. The owner is very kind and down to earth-I believe we went when it just opened? The poke and sushi is fresh and very tasty ^^

So, this place has a set poke menu in terms of the sides. The poke was really good, but the sides that came with it were underwhelming. Especially the purple rice, I think the rice is supposed to be on the denser side as texture balance for the soft poke protein, but it was too hard. I’d really love an option to have steamed rice. Also, had one of their fatocron strawberry cookie dessert, and it was more cream cheesy than ice cream cookie (which is what it looked like). I’ll def. go back to try other items, and see how spicy “their actually spicy” poke is.

Upon my arrival at Pisces Poke & Ramen, I found the establishment to be peacefully vacant. The ordering process intrigued me; it involved using a tablet to place orders, offering both advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, it minimized human interaction, allowing customers to seamlessly place their orders. However, on the flip side, it might prove challenging when customers have inquiries about the menu. The interior, though compact, displayed a unique charm with its outdoor-style bench tables though they were a tad sticky. My order consisted of two pokes, resulting in a total bill of approximately $45. The overall experience was average, with food quality being decent. However, I found the portion size slightly modest considering the price point.I ventured to Pisces Poke & Ramen primarily based on reviews describing it as a hidden gem. I acknowledge that it indeed resides in a cozy corner within a small plaza, contributing to its hidden charm. Despite my hopes for an exceptional experience, I must admit that there was nothing particularly compelling that would draw me back for a return visit.I intend to neither diminish the establishment nor deter others from exploring it. It's possible that different preferences and tastes may lead others to find enjoyment in this unique spot. I still recommend others to give this spot a try

Holy wow! All the reviews were spot on. This is exactly why I always explore new areas on yelp to find these amazing places. It is on a nondescript plaza next to a Subway. You could drive by it a hundred times and never notice it, but man would your life be incomplete as a result. Quite possibly the best poke I have had in LA. Almost certainly the best musubi. So much spam goodness, perfectly balanced sauce. I'm salivating all over again while writing this review. Just accept all I am saying and go and come back here and write just how worthwhile the drive was. Service was good, quick, and simple. You order on a screen and you pay and you don't talk to anyone unless you want to. Your food is brought out shortly thereafter by the friendly person who also prepped it. The menu is limited and simple. Which is probably what makes for the perfect arrangement and consistency of your order. This is the howlin' rays of poke, but without the crazy lines... yet.

Pisces Poke and Ramen is a hidden gem, tucked away in an El Sereno strip mall. As someone who has enjoyed poke across Hawaii, I can say without reservation that the poke here rivals--if not surpasses--anything I've had in Oahu, Kauai, or Maui. The flavors are spot-on, capturing the authentic taste and quality you'd expect from a top-tier poke establishment. Add to that the reasonable pricing and the absence of frills, and you've got yourself a perfect weekday lunch option if you're in the area. It's remarkable to think that some of the best poke can be found in such an unassuming location. Highly recommend giving Pisces Poke and Ramen a try--you won't be disappointed.
