This food is SO SO good! The owner really cares about getting you the best food exactly how you want it. Love this El Sereno gem! I originally went there for the Poke but the teriyaki chicken is incredible, too!

Butter Blue Crab & Shrimp is my go to, but I've yet to taste a bad plate. It's a bit pricey but once you taste it, you will definitely feel like it's worth it. Soy rice is a MUST.

Hello my Yelpies,IF YOU WANT AUTHENTIC POKE? YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE. I've been searching long and hard for an authentic Hawaiian poke bowl for the longest time. I am looking for something that is just fish and sauce, i don't want all the unnecessary items, like peas, crab meat, etc. If you are like me than Pisces is the place to go. Parking here isn't too much of a headache, there's plenty of spots right in front. And you know it, I came here for one thing and one thing only. POKE! I must say if you like spicy you have to try their ALWAYS SPICY. That is definitely my go to order. It comes with delicious chewy rice along with some edamame and if I'm feeling a little extra I will order their masubi which are both bomb af!!! Service is great as well! I can't wait to come back again. Overall, 5 stars for food and service.

The cleanliness issue was hard to overlook; it almost felt like there was a layer of grime covering the park-like benches and even the walls. The white decor, though initially attractive, unfortunately accentuated the dirtiness, creating an uninviting atmosphere.The front partition, particularly around the register, seemed neglected and hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. This raised concerns about the overall hygiene of the restaurant. If the front of the house is in this condition, one can't help but wonder about the cleanliness standards in the kitchen and other areas.It's disheartening to see such a fantastic food spot not living up to its full potential due to cleanliness issues. I believe a little effort in maintaining a cleaner environment would make Pisces Poke and Ramen a much more appealing place to dine. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns to heart, as I would love to return for the incredible food in a more inviting setting.In summary, great food, but the cleanliness concerns need urgent attention to enhance the overall dining experience.

We used to get the Actually Spicy Tuna and Salmon poke from Pisces at least once a week, sometimes twice. It was amazing, and the best poke around. Now all of a sudden the portions are much smaller (yes, the price is lower, so that's not the problem), and they also don't offer tuna at all, and replaced the tuna with scallops. We've been told it's because Tuna is more expensive, and they also made it smaller so the price point is lower and more accessible... just disappointed because we loved it as it was (as did many, see reviews). We would've been happy to pay more for the tuna, but we weren't given that option. Similarly if they wanted to create a lower price option they certainly could have done so, while still keeping the larger choice for those that were happy paying more for a larger portion.I've had the scallops a few times, and really just don't like them. This went from being my favorite lunch spot to a disappointment. If it's not broke, don't fix it, right? Expand your menu with less pricey options but don't take away the things that work and that people have been raving about for years. Bummed!

So, this place has a set poke menu in terms of the sides. The poke was really good, but the sides that came with it were underwhelming. Especially the purple rice, I think the rice is supposed to be on the denser side as texture balance for the soft poke protein, but it was too hard. I’d really love an option to have steamed rice. Also, had one of their fatocron strawberry cookie dessert, and it was more cream cheesy than ice cream cookie (which is what it looked like). I’ll def. go back to try other items, and see how spicy “their actually spicy” poke is.

Holy wow! All the reviews were spot on. This is exactly why I always explore new areas on yelp to find these amazing places. It is on a nondescript plaza next to a Subway. You could drive by it a hundred times and never notice it, but man would your life be incomplete as a result. Quite possibly the best poke I have had in LA. Almost certainly the best musubi. So much spam goodness, perfectly balanced sauce. I'm salivating all over again while writing this review. Just accept all I am saying and go and come back here and write just how worthwhile the drive was. Service was good, quick, and simple. You order on a screen and you pay and you don't talk to anyone unless you want to. Your food is brought out shortly thereafter by the friendly person who also prepped it. The menu is limited and simple. Which is probably what makes for the perfect arrangement and consistency of your order. This is the howlin' rays of poke, but without the crazy lines... yet.
