I am soooooo sad planchas went out of business. It was my backyard go to spot. The worst was I had no warning. I walked by one day. Open. Next a sign that said thanks for the last 14 years. My biggest upset. I want the salsa. It's my favorite. I need someone to send me the red and green salsa recipes. I'm very upset about this loss.

Solid taco spot in Beverly Grove right on busy 3rd street. I figured I needed to give this place a try since they were known for their great shrimp tacos, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp was very flavorful and juicy, easily the star of the meal. The onions and cilantro were fresh and the salsa (added after the picture was taken) was very good as well. The tortilla was alright, nothing special, but the chips were very appreciated. Service was also very fast and friendly. The taco is a bit pricey, but for the quality of the shrimp I would say its worth it. Overall this spot is worth checking out if you are in the area, or craving a shrimp taco of this specific style.

Been eating here since it opened. The chicken taquitos are the bomb. The Tiger shrimp tacos have been great, except for the last two times. Like maybe they got a bad batch of shrimp. But everybody there is friendly and the food is super quick and the chips are good. I'll just switch up my order for a while. The chicken breast is moist and tasty . This place is a neighborhood gem!

I got here at 745am the lady inside saw me and signaled that they're not open yet. I looked up the hours of operation on Yelp, shows they open at 8am, so I waited patiently until 8am. When I walked up to the door I noticed that it was locked, so the lady tells me through the speaker she's opening late today! Why didn't you tell me that when you saw me waiting outside? I could've went to another place but you didn't because you're unprofessional and probably don't give a crap about people. Now I have to go to work with an empty stomach.

Great spot for your Mexican food fix! I got the famous shrimp diablo burrito but I feel like it could have been bigger for the price. I like that they put sour cream in their burritos and they give you chips with your order. They also have a salsa bar which is also great. Wondering what the best burrito to get here is.
