A wine bar that has been my go to lately on a casual day after work. It's small and calm like in here. Been coming here when I feel the desire to unwind with a glass of wine. Nothing major, chill vibes when I'm present here. I also come here to do work/school work after work. I enjoy this little gem. When I come here alone, I usually conversate with the owner and workers here at the bar counter. They are really friendly and welcoming. I feel like I officially became a regular here! The wine so far is good from the selections I've had. I'm no expert with wine but since coming here I've been ordering it more often at other establishments. Who would've thought wine would be my first choice these days lol It's also a wine market so a bottle purchase to go or a choice to purchase a bottle and drink it there. I've purchase two bottles of wine to go. Decent prices and good selection during happy hour. Complimentary popcorn is provided. I'm not a huge eater on popcorn but I will happily eat it here with a glass of wine lol They also have some beer choices and a small selection of cocktails. Their food is good. No complaints. Living on the Westide, my wife and I don't make it to the Arts District for dinner as often as we'd like to. Every time we do, however, me make sure to come a bit early and have a glass or two at Pour Haus. The place is like the perfect convergence of friendly service, awesome selection, and dynamite prices. We made it downtown for the first time since the pandemic began, and we were both so happy to see this place was still killing it. With tasty snacks and a ton of board games, it's the perfect place to relax while you're waiting for your reservation at any of the billion delicious restaurants in the area. Do yourself a favor and try the lambrusco!

There was only outdoor seating when we went, and we were pretty easily able to make a reservation on a weekday night.The servers were super friendly and nice, and helped us with our questions about cheese and meats and wine. We ordered the bruschetta and pot roast and wow those were great. I wish there were more pot roast though! The wine and charcuterie board were all recommended for us by one of the servers, and they were very good.There are also boardgames you can ask to play on the table.Great vibes here!

The idea for paying before you go down is genius. Who really wants to have their card charged like a million times each time you do a tasting or buy a bottle of wine? Here, you can just take care of it all in one chance. Sweet!
Very nice modern interior where you can sit at the bar (there are several), sit on very comfy chairs and sofas surrounding the bar, or just chill in the center where there are high stools to sit and socialize. Great set up where you can order wine flights or by the glass. Beer is also served as well as food. They even have DJs playing great music! Highly recommend going with a group of friends!

i had such a great first time at Pour Haus! the service was great and the owner was so nice. ive been to my fair share of wine bars and this is definitely one of my favorites. i came during happy hour and had 7$ sangria and tacos which were delicious and finished the meal with super yummy s'mores. will definitely be back!

I can't believe after all these years, I've never reviewed this place. First off, this is my FAVORITE place. We love it here, amazing wine, great food and the most awesome owner. She always goes above and beyond for all her patrons. So happy they survived the pandemic. If you're looking for great wine, great food ans great service, this is your place.
