Super loud, 3 people in the front checking people in with a huge attitude, overpriced food, doesn’t taste authentic, 5% extra charge for workers health care?

It's never a dull time at Red Bird. Best Restaurant in Los Angeles since they opened. But y'all messed up by taking the Gemeli off the menu. That's the best thing!!

This was a fantastic meal. Food was fresh and delicious. Loved the menu and selections! It is expensive but a great experience. Would go again.Atmosphere was really nice and enjoyable. Potions were large for this type of restaurant. It was slightly loud for those with hearing problems.Kid-friendliness: Not for kids

We enjoyed the ambience here- intimate and warm. The service was good and attentive. Our food was delicious - everything we ordered was tasty and had good flavor to it. The scallop dish I ordered was slightly too salty but everything else was well seasoned and we would order again (i.e. prawns appetizer, cavatelli and pork chops). The cost is on the higher side and is more of a special treat than an everyday dinner.

Brunch. My wagyu burger was medium but burnt. First couple of bites were great tho. Fries seemed like Ore Ida. Tartine was good but very stingy on the lox. Service was so slow. Nice but like where are you? Come take our order please. The worst is when you have to wait 30 minutes for the check. Every one can see were done. Why can't the staff talk to each other and tell our waiter who literally didn't walk by once. We had to get up and ask the hostess to ask our waiter to give us the check. Then another ten minutes to process the payment. I'd try again tho.

A hideaway restaurant for adults. It's located near Little Tokyo, but the signboard is small so don't miss it.This stylish restaurant is housed in a renovated church, serving creative American cuisine with European touches in a relaxed atmosphere. Shishito peppers are recommended as an appetizer. For mains, we had scallops (Day Boat Scallops) and steak (New York Strips), both of which were delicately prepared and seasoned, leaving us feeling highly satisfied.Recommended for eating alone or with your loved ones.

Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Atmosphere and food were that of a high end restaurant with reasonable prices.

I can’t speak for dinner but for brunch this a top tier brunch spot. Everything was good and they’re really trying to push to give you the best food and service possible. They do something different with their mimosas, I’m not exactly sure they explained it to me but after a few I have forgotten just know they’re perfect. Don Flamenco grapefruit drink is also amazing. All the food was truly exceptional. The blueberry pancakes are huge ! The bacon is so smoky and perfect. The frittata and egg sandwich were both great also. I even posted a pic of the ice cubes cause they’re perfect ?. Also the atmosphere with the service is just so fire. The roof opens up when it’s nice out. Such a dope vibe. You can’t miss if you come here. Highly recommended!!

We were very excited to come here on the recommendation of a coworker who had her wedding here. We thought this could be a potential wedding venue for us as well. However, our experience was marked with disappointment all around. Upon arrival we were seated in the red couches in the greenhouse area. The table was extremely close to another family and we felt so awkward being this close to strangers. To make matters worse, it was extremely noisy in the restaurant so we had to yell to hear each other, so I'm sure the table next to us heard everything. Still, I thought maybe the food will be worth the discomfort. We ordered the biscuits and I was prepared for flaky, crispy goodness. My first bite was met with a cold center...I thought these were supposed to be fresh? The waiter replaced them, and we got some lukewarm ones next. Well...I guess that's a step up from being cold. Then we waited...and waited. and waited...about 30 minutes before the entrees finally came out. The fried egg sandwich was nothing special. It really tasted just like fried eggs, bacon, and ketchup in some bread...For a $25 sandwich, I really thought that this place would be able to elevate the food but I could've made a better sandwich myself. I also got the lobster congee and that was again just okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we will not be giving this place another try. The overall experience was bad and the food did nothing to make up for it.

my mom and I kept it simple and shared 2 dishes. I believe it was the duck confit chilaquiles and short rib hash. the were both delicious! the service was amazing, as well as the ambiance, with the open roof. It was quite loud, due to a very busy Sunday brunch time. we found some street parking, but very limited. a lovely experience before heading to the theater!

Food was wonderful and wait staff very friendly, but slow at times. Bustling and fun atmosphere, but so noisy you couldn't really talk and dark enough you needed your phone flashlight to read the menu. Valet parking available, but $15 charge, which wasn't posted.

We arrived 15 minutes late due to traffic in downtown. We have a table reserved in the main dining room, due to the tardiness, the maitre want to sit us in the lounge. I have to tell her to seat us where we have reserved since there were many tables still available in the main dining room. She told me that I have an hour and a half to dine. I would have ordered desserts if we weren't rush to leave. Our server is excellent, very attentive, food is excellent.

We came for our anniversary last night and had the best time! We were offered complimentary champagne for a toast, and when I told our server I don't drink alcohol, she offered me NA champagne. I didn't even know that existed! We ordered the Hiramasa Crudo to start. It was delicious. Melted in your mouth and the flavors were on point. Next we shared the strip steak and cavatelli. Both were amazing! The lemon/yuzo pavlova was my favorite thing of the whole night, it was tart and yummy. Obviously this restaurant is pricy, but the food was totally worth it. I also saw chef Neal walking around which was pretty cool! I remember him from top chef! We will be back!
