Ricky's fish tacos was hyped up to me on several occasions. It was worth all the hype and more, once you get to the food truck you can see all the awards they've earned painted onto the truck. I ordered a fish, and shrimp taco to try both flavors. It was amazing, the seafood itself was cooked perfectly and had a nice crunchy outer texture, with a warm inside blasted with flavor and freshness. The toppings made the taco not just a taco, but a home. The tortilla was very good too, and the salsa they have is worth trying. I smothered the taco in salsa after I tried it. Overall bussin food truck Pros: fresh seafood, amazing toppings, cool concept and employees, quality authentic salsa, perfect crunch Cons: no where to eat, limited menu Would come back again?-Yes (already did)

Really liked that Ricky's had a variety of sauces to put on the tacos. Great taco spot if ever in the area, you won't be disappointed.

This place was just ok. I've had my fair share of fish tacos throughout LA. I felt like the fish taco batter was way too salty. The crema however was good. This place is located under a bridge. There's plenty of parking on the cul de sac right after you pass the truck. It seems like this place is really popular but I wouldn't come out of my way for this.

The owner of this taco truck must be hung like a moose because he fills his tacos with LOTS of delicious meat. Not to mention the creamy white sauce which was the perfect "finish." Would definitely eat here again.

I been looking for you since 2008 Ricky's Fish Taco. I wish Yelp could show our time stamps on all our bookmarks because this one is long overdue. It's always next time next time next time and I'm tired of saying that. So today I made another effort to come out and try these famous fish tacos. For a Friday lunchtime it wasn't to bad. I respect the number system and it was very efficient and effective . What I mean by that is have you ever gotten takeout and they say 20 min. Come back 20 min and by the time you get back into the car seat your timer goes off? Yeah it's like that over here. To the T . That confidence transpires to the food. Ricky's special taco (5.50) which is a half shrimp Half fish taco in their famous batter with garnishes cabbage, onion, tomato, jalapeño Ricky's fish taco (4.50) full fish with the same garnishes. Who likes fresh chopped cabbage but this place elevates the chopped cabbage with pico de gallo tomatoes onion jalapeño and it pairs well with a white tortilla They have 3 sauces white green red Red sauce hot sauce being my favorite Although I found the fried batter to be a bit on the saltier side it wasn't overwhelming. When dude said anything to drink maybe I should have gotten a drink lol. Overall this place is a solid 4/5 Not bad not hella good but above decent For sure tho it's the best fish taco You will have from a. Food truck.

So we saw this food truck on the food network about Fish tacos so we went since its not far from us. It wasn't as good as it looked on TV. I had a shrimp taco and the shrimp was so salty that it wasn't good.

I've been coming to Ricky's for quite a few years now. These are by far... THE BEST FISH TACOS IN LA!! Always made to order, extremely fresh, crispy and juicy. I like ordering a mixture of fish and shrimp, as well as a Ricky's Special whenever I feel like it. I am a huge fan of their special sauce and salsas, don't be afraid to mix everything up!! The order takers are always very kind and efficient. It is no secret that the staff here at Ricky's work extremely hard to produce a flawless product. PS, this is all coming from someone who has never been too crazy about cooked fish, you can call these fresh to death. Never change, Ricky's Fish tacos.

THE BEST FISH TACOS IN CALIFORNIA. Seriously. Worth the drive. Ricky does an amazing job, the fish is always so fresh. It's consistent and amazing every single time we come. We love this fish taco truck so much that we used them for our engagement party in 2019! Highly recommend. You won't get another fish taco this good in the whole state of California!

I am so glad to have finally made it here! I have driven by many times and the line was just too long for me to want to stop. So now that I have tried them, I would gladly wait in line next time! There are shrimp tacos and fish tacos are outrageously good! There slaw has jalapeño in it which adds a nice cake. The red and green salsa is delicious and the Mexican Crema takes away from the heat. You can add the sauces yourself once you pick up your tacos. Service was great, prices are a bit high, but since they actually were the best fish tacos I've ever had I would gladly come back over and over again! Highly recommended!

Are these so fast didn't even take pictures. The tacos are worth every penny. They are so fresh, tortillas taste homemade, and are the perfect vehicle for the tacos. I tried a fish and a shrimp and couldn't choose my favorite! The tacos were not greasy, and the salsa was a great compliment. 10/10 would recommend, a great place to bring out of towners to as well. I see what all the hype is about!
