Amaaaaaazing fresh mariscos! Best I've had outside of mexico. Prices are great and so are the portions! Prepare to wait because this place is no secret but it is totally worth it. Casual quick bite or dining with the fam. Service was amazing super attentive and fast and thorough :) highly recommend

I've always had a great eating experience when I order from here. The sushi is delicious and my friends always love the rice and noodles.

Love this place. Been coming here for 15 years - you won't be disappointed. Can't go wrong with the Tiger Roll

I honestly love this place. It's such a cute cozy spot and they have such a wide selection of food to choose from. It feels very authentic and honestly well-priced. I love the outdoor patio, and the service is awesome, they gave us a free cucumber side with a DELISH dipping sauce. I have been a few times and was not disappointed.

Truly average food and service, but does the job just fine if you just need your fix of predictable Japanese food with some drinks on the side with friends. The ambience inside is a bit divey but in a fun way, and I like how convenient this location is and how it's relatively easy to walk in for dinner. Would never be my first choice for genuinely special or remarkable Japanese cuisine, but a decent spot nonetheless.

Been here three or four times now with my significant other and it never disappoints. The ramens are crazy good, the karaage is amazing, the beef bowl is delicious... This is quickly becoming one of our favorite local spots. My gf is half Japanese too, and she knows good Japanese food - and she raves about this spot every time. We're big fans! The service is great each time as well, and the ambiance is fun because they play legit great music - Wu Tang is on right now! It's too cool - we love it. I'd take a photo of my ramen, but I ate everything already - it was too delicious to wait.

It's a great little izakaya in the neighborhood. It's been a go-to spot for me for a couple years now when I want conviviality and good basic food.

The portions here are ridiculously small. We ordered 2 dishes just as a light snack but they were so small. See images for the ridiculous size of this. We got the mini Ikura Bowl ($8) and the salmon yuzu ($13) and the portion was literally 1/4 of an appetizer. With the amount of money you are paying and portion size that you receive, expect to spend literally $40-$50 a person to be full which literally goes against the entire spirit of izakaya which should be cheap affordable bar food. Yes, I understand "American" izakaya is more inflated but this is straight highway robbery. I cannot emphasize how tiny the portions are; look at other picturea. Would not recommend this place unless you're ready to pay fine dining prices for izakaya food.

So I've had their food a few more times now. This is just an excellent restaurant. Delicious and pristinely fresh nigiri, gracious and smart service, a menu to please almost any taste. And the best ponzu I've ever tasted. If they don't make it in house which I'm assuming they do, then I need to know where they get it. It's the most intense umami flavor ever. Always happy after a meal from here.

This restaurant compelled me to end my inadvertent break from Yelp reviews to warn the masses. Don't eat here unless you also enjoy lighting paper money on fire for entertainment. The plates are laughably small and overpriced for an izakaya - we only ordered the yuzu pepper salmon ($13) and the mini ikura bowl ($8) and I experienced the worst buyer's regret of my 20s after the dishes came out. Quality was average but that hardly matters at this price.

Would not recommend this place unless you're ready to pay fine dining prices for izakaya food.

I have to say the atmosphere was the only good thing about this place. I saw some of the reviews mentioned good things about sushi, I did not order sushi so can't comment on that, but everything I ordered didn't taste good, either too heavily flavored or had no flavor at all. Not a place I would go for food again. Also they required 18% gratitude which was built in the bill.
