Never been so insulted! Went there this morning. The only black there , made me pay for my sandwich b4 making it .. but with all the other customers they gave them their items b4 paying, want be going back they’re racist

Vegan/dairy-free folks beware! You will be publicly chastised for asking if they have dairy free options! I came in to Sammy Goode's with my 2 friends on a Sunday evening, after finding the place online and reading the good reviews, I was very excited to try it out. I politely asked the man behind the counter who I presume is the owner if there were any vegan ice cream options, he in a very loud voice shouted "We don't have anything catering to vegans here!" While a group of teenagers he was helping laughed, I presume he used my question as an opportunity to make a funny joke to the group. I was shocked by the owner's rude response and honestly was tempted to leave at this point. I ended up getting a juice (gee, I guess you do have vegan options?) but genuinely felt this business did not deserve any of my money. My friends ended up getting some donuts and I tried one. They were very average. The other employee who ended up helping me was kind and did not mock any of my questions or requests, but I will definitely not be back here.

Went to La for a concert in may . Stayed in the area of this place and we went several times during our stay. We absolutely loved the donuts . Super soft , even the next day. Kevin was also super nice to us . My girls and I still talk about him and this shop . Definitely would recommend

I went today and got sent away because "there were too many people in the store" it was literally a mom and like 3 kids and a man by himself. I left my house just to get ice cream from here. Needless to say i will never go again. Many of my friends have gone when it has been busier and havnt got sent away. Never again waisting my time. I guess they dont need the business.

BEST MUFFINS AROUND!!!!If you're looking for great service, great prices, clean and fast shop- this is the place!!!!FOOD: 5/5The banana nut muffins are literally the best! Better than Tierra Mia, or any other donut shop I have ever been at! I ordered a mango smoothie, green something something- and delicious! I even asked if he can make it "less sweet" and he said no problem, and blended me up the perfect drink. Chefs kiss! Customer service 10/5The service here is a1! My partner grew up in LA, so he has been coming here for years (since birth lol) and now my father and I go, and absolutely feel like home any time I walk into this shop. When we walk in we are greeted by the owner, and his workers. We talk about diet, exercise, and the owner to lay off his red-bull. Y'all, he's trying! Haha. Not many places still do this real customer service thing; and I hope it never changes! Price: 5/5 So affordable! My drink was 4.00 and was huge with real fruits! The muffins and donuts are super cheap, and they even have 1.00 bags for "day old" sales. This place will forever have my heart and money! lol. All in all: 6/5Support local shops, and forget Starbucks!! (okay I still love my Starbucks- don't judge me)

The donuts were good but I ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and I guess the guy didn’t wash the machine he made it in because it literally tasted like melon and oranges
