Outrageously large & extremely delicious sandwiches! I had the brisket & pastrami on challah & words simply cannot express how tasty it was! Reasonable prices for what you get!

Tried this deli after walking in there last time just to buy a side of pepperoncini. I purchased a brisket and pastrami sandwich, and a 1/2 pound cut of fatty brisket. We all thought it was a pleasant sandwich and was flavorful but not too heavy. I will go eat there again, and try some other items. The sides of cooked vegetables and the mashed potatoes as well as the potato salad were delicious as well.Parking: Metered Street Parking

I have been here about 6 times and the man in his 70s working there is incredibly unkind every time. They should probably get some new workers to work the front but the food is pretty good.

OMG!! The Matzah Ball soup was absolutely amazing! Especially with the chicken and noodles added! So delicious! I also appreciate that they still give you a substantial amount of broth even when adding the extras. The potato knish and sugar sprinkle cookie were also tasty! I ordered for delivery and when it arrived it was still hot and ready to eat. The perfect meal! (And I didn’t have to cook it! Haha)

SCHWARTZ DELI & BBQ!!! Exciting stuff! They are now in the soft opening phase but they're already hitting it out of the park. They are going for an old-school deli as well as authentic barbecue. They are still tweaking stuff but as far as I’m concerned they got the brisket on point. I got it in a sandwich and it was fantastic. Juicy with that great smoky flavor, and wow do they pack it on. That’s what I’m talking about!Talking about packing it on, check out the pastrami. We’re talking old-school, overstuffed, like I haven’t seen in I don’t know how long. It’s a true old-school New York deli experience. This is hand carved with love. Nothing shrink-wrapped here, but brined and prepared in-house. It was fantastic even though it was on the lean side and they say they’re working on a fattier naval pastrami which, I’m telling you now, is going to be off da hook!If you want to stay on the healthy side but still want good barbecue, check out their cauliflower steak with pulled beef. Very nice! You’ve got some great apps inside as well, such as very flavorful fire poppers with both a great herb blend on the coating as well as a great sauce. I always say, if a place makes their own onion rings you've got to get them, and these do not disappoint. You’re also going to want to try their pulled beef and pastrami egg rolls. So that’s it for now but I can’t wait to go back to try the real stuff such as the Dinoribs, lamb etc. Stay tuned! They are now open from 12-8PM. 8820 West Pico Blvd. Check it out!

I gave them a second chance. Still not satisfied. The pictures of what they serve is not the same as what they actually serve. Terrible service .

Criminally underrated restaurant on the Pico strip! My family loves going to Schwartz's for that classic deli feel, with authentic and kosher food. Their Southwest Zinger sandwich is a delicious pile of homemade pastrami, schnitzel, and more. My husband orders the spicy poppers every time, and we can't resist the bbq beans. The ambiance has been a little in progress as they've been working on an expansion, but they've just added in some new seating and lighting, so we're excited to go back for more dine in. If you're looking for a taste of classic Jewish deli, start with the matzoball soup (it's huge, we usually share!), go for the hot corned beef on rye, and settle into a brand new booth. We'll definitely be back for more soon.

Up till today I was here weekly. I would get the 1 pound chicken tenders (2 orders) with ranch and poppers sauce on the side. Today I was told they can't do poppers sauce on the side unless I get the poppers with sauce on the side???? It's the same exact thing/price! I like to order and not have mistakes and 2 of my kids don't like Spicy so I get it on the side. This is the reason kosher places don't survive owners/managers are rude and offer ZERO service or ability to satisfy a returning customer. See picture of menu item and price I don't get why I was told NO but you can buy the sauce for 12.95!!! Ok never again.

Witness the person on the deli station, making the sandwiches pick at his ear with his gloves on and continue making the sandwich after he picked his ear. Sandwiches way too overpriced to get this kind of service.

Sorry… I’ve been here a few timesTrying to find a good deli sandwichI’m a corned beef/pastrami guyFirst time had an pretty good CB sandwichWas and am pretty turned off by the way they prepare itthey don’t have a slicer they cut off pieces by handWhat happens is , it’s little chunks of meat and it all falls out of the breadRidiculousBut the next two times, especially the latest last weektheMeat was absolutely and completely tastelessAnd meat was falling all over the placeTo the point I just gave up and leftAnd to pay $25 for a regular size sandwich is simply Outrageous (you do get two sides)I must say the two guys behind counter were very sweet nice and helpful. But I came for a sandwich not a smileAlso the ambience was very spartan bit that’s nothingWill not return anytime soonPity
