Place is a cool little spot to hangout after hours. But the pricing is not ideal. For Soju it is $26 but if you go to an Asian market, like (99 Ranch Market/H Mart), it'll be maybe $15 for a pack of 6 soju bottles. At other restaurants, they usually charge around $10-$13. So I'm not sure why they over price their alcohol. But don't get me wrong, the service here is not bad. They're actually pretty nice here. But not good for overpriced alcohol or food to add on to.

Be careful when you pay here. Like everyone said, they will add tips automatically and sometimes charge you for things you didn't order. After 2am, this is the only place that sells alcohol in la. So if you must go, just be careful when you pay.

This place charging 20% tip automatically even with two people. It's so f'cked up. And even the automatic charge they even suggests for more additional fee. And the reason they brought up was it was because after midnight charge. This place is such a joke. What a bunch of clowns. Hope this place get shut down.

What kind of charge is overnight after 1:00 AM FEE charge? Is it even legal? We go for 2 people and they automatically charge 20% for service. What service can it be? I will call CTDFA department to report this!!

Please listen to me, save yourself and avoid this place at all costs. We ordered the small sashimi combo, seafood pancake, and steamed seafood dish. This place is disgusting. The bill came out to $250, comparable to fine dining restaurants with course meals. There were no people when we walked in which should have been a telltale sign. I feel sick just after eating some of this food. We didn't finish a single thing. Wasted money, calories, and time. I wanted to support a Korean business as a fellow Korean, but they need to close. My friends and I trauma-bonded through this experience. Have some integrity and please don't do business! Absolutely a scam.

Very nice place to eat. Fresh, healthy and tasty. Their staff is very friendly and attentive to customers’ needs.

BEWARE! Either the cashier didn't know what they were doing or they are intentionally including 20% tip in the bill and then when they hand it back, there's another option for tip again on the merchants receipt! Please be careful when paying here!

I ate two Dungeness scraps about a month ago.I remember the price was over $80 a piece.I drank a bottle of beer during the 40 minutes of steaming the crab, and there was no ski dashi, so when the crab came out, I thought I would give it up, but then I met a crab, and there was a ski dashi before, but why was there no ski dashi?I think so. I ate raw fish.Ah- it's a waste of money ㅠㅠNo, I ate 200 dollars - I can't be bitten because I don't have skis againThey gave me two scrambled eggs for service.I felt so young..Still, it was late and the owner was kind, so it was an expensive place to go...Ah... I don't think I'll be back ㅠㅠ

Freshest steam lobster I’ve tried in LA. Growing up from a place with fresh steam seafood culture, this is so far the only place meet my standard.

So yummy! Our waitress was so kind and made sure that we would have enough food for a large group, even brought us a large size steamed egg. Everything was very tasty - grilled salmon, sashimi platter (so many kinds of fish, really nice), starter with oysters&sea cucumber& other items, soup with fish cake, tempura, pancake. LOTS of Soju. You definitely get what you pay for. Thank you Sea Story!

A lil bit pricey but this place is the bomb. Recommended dishes: clam soup, grilled eel, oysters ( good for ppl into spicy food). Decoration is very good, def will recommend for a Friday nite

False advertisement. They have a poster for $99 combo on their window. What we got was missing few of the items like raw crab and pancake!Bad taste - bitter fish and sea cucumberBad service - lady was annoyed when we were always nice and appreciative. They were not even busy, there were little customers.Expensive - but what for? Not worth itLiterally regret coming here, all the other restaurants in the same plaza has great food but this was a big miss. Will not come back and not recommendThe google review seemed good but I think they’re fakeSave yourself money and time and go to LA Sashimi instead for live seafood, also in Korea town! Tastes much better and even though they also do not speak English they actually make effort to communicate and is very friendly
