Food is good, server was friendly, the interior atmosphere and decor was nice and clean feeling. The portions were small but food was fresh overall. Some dishes could improve. Beef was mediocre. The other meats were good.

Heads up - even though it says there are multiple vegetarian options nothing is actually vegetarian. All broths are beef. The waiter was super nice about it and offered to do the bibimbop vegetarian which was pretty good but not as flavorful as it could’ve been.Vegetarian options: Almost no vegetarian options, just a plain bibimbop. No hot pot.

I think this place is overpriced and not that good. I got the wagyu hotpot, and bulgogi here. It was almost $120+ after tip/tax split with 1 other person. The bulgogi meat wasn't that great and the wagyu didn't have that distinctive melt in your mouth taste from the hotpot. It also took a while to find a server, and the place also closes very early (relatively speaking). They also make (fairly good) porridge at the end, which is probably the one extra star they get.

After the recent remodeling, the place has become even more neat. The food is still delicious. Especially, there is a waiter who appears to be from the Philippines, always displaying a bright and positive attitude. Their kindness is so remarkable that I wish they could serve me every time I visit. It's a great place to welcome guests, and I highly recommend it for both the welcoming atmosphere and tasty food.

First time having Korean Shabu and was really confused as to why the servers wouldn't let us cook our own meats lol. The protein will come with a plate of shredded veggies and they'll cook the meats for you. The broth is super clean and flavorful and you'll eat it with their sides. Once done, they'll do a udon portion which was really tasty and comforting on a cold day. And finally, they'll add some broth and rice to make porridge! It was SO good, this was actually my favorite part of the meal. Everything was really tasty. Everything they make is in house and the food doesn't leave you thirsty like other shabu + kbbq restaurants. Really good quality!

First time here and I thought it was really good overall! The interior is spacious, clean, and nicely designed. The booths have so much space. Service was really attentive and the food was delicious. Parking was also great with valet

I was today years old when I found out that Korean shabu was a thing! I've only ever tried chinese hotpot and japanese shabu but I figured Korean shabu wouldn't be too far off. The main distinction I noticed is that the veggies are finely chopped, so that you can get a bite of veggies with each piece of meat. There's only one preset broth, and I believe it was an anchovy kelp stock.Seoul Garden also serves the shabu combo in courses. First the server cooks the veggies and meat for the table. Once the table finishes the meat & veggies, the udon is served. The last course was making porridge from the leftover shabu stock! A bowl of rice, egg, seaweed & sesame oil is added to the pot and mixed until it thickens. The meat prices are definitely on the pricey side though. If you order the shabu combo, you have to pick 2 meats and the prices vary between the meat choices. Overall such a cozy and filling meal.

Came here before kcon awhile back. The bulgogi was cooked for us in the kitchen and lacked the sweet savory taste I am accustomed to at usual Korean bbq places. This was disappointing. Bland bulgogi seems impossible. The pork belly is just that. Nothing special. The seafood pancake was the best part of our meal. It has a good amount of seafood inside and it was nice and thick. The service was ok as we don't speak Korean and it appeared like the ajumma was annoyed we didn't order more food or go for the combos. The menu was stuck to the wall and from the portion of food to the price, it feels overpriced. Overall it served our purpose to have a quick meal but I wasn't impressed. Maybe their shabu is way better but we only had bbq.

Amazing meat quality!! Came to this place after seeing a video from bapross on tiktok and I'm so glad I decided to try it out. The meat was melt in your mouth deliciousness and the kimchi fried rice at the end was the cherry on top. 10/10 for meat quality and 10/10 for service!

Still my go-to spot I. LA for Korean Shaby Shabu - Ghengis Kham - seven after 20+ years. They serve you instead of getting up for vegetables. Near quality is top notch and their menu is expansive. Their neng myun is spot on and quality is consistent and delicious as always! They make you Udon and porridge after you're done the hot pot experience. A must try in LA! Hope this place lasts another 50 years!
