Can’t attest to the food but the service was horrible. We waited to be seated as it stated as soon as you come in, most tables were full but guests were already eating so we sat there for 10-15 minutes waiting to be greeted and neither of the servers came to our table. They kept going to all other tables near by but didn’t even bat an eye at us. So we ended up leaving as our business was clearly not wanted. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone else based on service alone.

Food quality is excellent, and the service is decent, I was there at 8 pm on a Friday night, and the place had a few customers, so service should have been a little faster. All in all I will recommend with 4 stars. I will be back for sure.

Been coming here whenever me and my girlfriend was a soup (pretty often). Honestly place never disappoints. I love their lemongrass soup and the options they provide. Service is great as well, it’s a lovely little place!

Went with a group of 8. Was kinda confusing for the start. I hoped they would’ve simplified or found a better way to serve a large group. To be fair we were kinda all over the place.

If you don't mind waiting for sushi. They are either out of the sushi or they make you wait for it. By the time Its served you're ready to leave.

The taste of the food was good for the price. The only issue is the self serve toppings bar . The issue is it's the same tongs for the items and there was what I believe to be some sort of raw chicken at the bar .. I understand you cook it so it "kills off whatever cross contamination bacteria", but my partner and I had bad food poisoning that same night . (That was all we had that day so we believe it to have been from here) . Also it was our first time and we didn't know nor did they explain to us where and how it worked . Another group of people showed up and the attention towards them being new was a lot more different .. Just seemed kind of stereotypical.. without trying to sound rude. They asked them if it was there first time and they explained everything to them, but when we asked something and got an attitude answer like we should've known how it worked it just killed the mood.. Even then after that we said it was our first time and we still didn't get additional instructions and had to ask another question...

I’ve eaten here about 5 times now and easily is one of my favorite places to eat in LA! They offer all you can eat shabu for affordable prices in comparison to many other places, it’s about $28 a person but the selections are good and completely satisying, and even include sushi. The veggie/buffet bar also has delicious things, plus tasty sauces to go with your food. If you ever go do not fail to get the tom yum broth and sukiyaki sauce for your meats! It is insanely delicious and flavorful. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxing too :) Thank you Shabushi for the great service and eats!

The place is really small, but service is quick and efficient. The parking is tight as well and we may have been lucky to find a spot on the lot.The food was really good. All of the appetizers were also really good. Just be careful not to fill yourself up on the appetizers or you'll miss out on the hot pot itself, which is the star of the place. I like that all the veggies are self serve and you can get as much noodles and veggies you like in your hot pot. It was a really enjoyable experience.

The service was excellent... However, the cooks in the back kept Staring at us and watching us for whatever reason? The sushi was TRASH and tasted sour and old/ pre-made. They also charge 15% gratuity?... if it wasn't for the server who DID provide amazing customer service, I would NOT have "okayed" the %15 gratuity fee. My son and I will NOT be returning back to this restaurant. The noodles, cod fish, eggs, and customer service from the waitress were the only highlights of this experience.

First time here and the food was delicious. As all the other reviews said, the sushi is a miss. The meats for the shabu was so yummy and the soup was good! The dessert was also plated nicely and the green tea ice cream is perfect who doesn't like too sweet of desserts. Disclaimer, There is a 15% service charge over a party of 1. We also got the $35 premium menu and didn't get the refill on drinks. Good place and solid meats!

We use to frequently go to Shabushi for their sukiyaki broth with rib eye and veggies. Until the last time we went where they charged us an included tip in the bill (it was two people dining) which is a change they made in recent months. While I understand it is for the servers it discourages us from going back because the food is great but it is pricey to then also not let you choose how much you want to leave. Please also keep in mind that is a buffet style during the day so you grab yourself food.
