I would sell my child for a chicken tarragon wrap here.

Great place to have a coffee and food. Plenty of space to sit and can be used to study. Shoutout to Francisco for the amazing and friendly service.

This place didn’t disappoint as usual, coming from SF, I can tell the drip coffee is topnotch. Douglas saw me from a mile away and came explained to me the notes in their coffee beans, without me asking him to do it, came and showed someone who is obsessed with coffee why “I made the right choice” experience. Happy to be a customer here and I highly highly recommend this place if you love drip coffee, honestly they are the best in California.

Love this place. Unfortunately, it looks more like a coworking space lately, and it’s usually hard to find a table if you’re actually there to consume.

Would be the perfect place to work from but way too expensive… who pays 6$ for a croissant ???

Really cool coffee shop and open a bit later than most places. Lots of seating, very large interior space. Seems like a lot of young professionals go there to work. Great food options and they have fridges where you can buy ready made meals and other beverages. Attentive staff that are able to turnover tables quickly when guests leave. Difficult to find street parking as there are many stores and restaurants nearby and street parking is only for an hour.

$32 for a coffee and lox bagel (that wasn’t even lox, just raw salmon that tasted off). The wifi wasn’t working, staff said “this happens when it gets busy.” I left, unable to do any of my work. Disappointing.

The audacity! I cannot believe the experience I just had at this place. I used to love this place, but today I cannot believe the treatment we received. My friend and I ordered lattes "for here" in ceramic mugs and after an hour we were told to leave because "people who had ordered food didn't have anywhere to sit". Um someone else's timing or lack of planning is not my emergency. But apparently purchasing *just a coffee* FROM A COFFEE SHOP is not enough to use their facilities. This is why third places are disappearing. Needless to say we won't be back. We actually traveled from different neighborhoods to patronize this establishment but you can literally walk 5 steps to tartine instead to get coffee and sit. Just WOW.

This place is so popular that they turn away customers when they run out of seats. I felt like Mac and Charlie when I heard them say "we're at capacity "

First let me say this place is great, they know their coffee and everything tasted perfect. The staff is attentive, great customer service and the hand painted coffee cups are very unique. Sitting on the second floor you can overlook the entirety of the cafe and watch the barista roasters having fun chatting while making coffee and the guests in their own leisurely state.

Cute spot in an awesome area. Unfortunately this place can’t handle all the people working on their laptops. WiFi was out and there was almost nowhere to sit. Super overpriced.

TLDR: Parking aplenty (yes, in LA!), tasty latte, rustic but dreamy ambiance, free wifi, and spacious! Only con is little access to power outlets, so make sure to plan accordingly. - - - - - - Sightglass is located in an area with an abundance of parking either via residential or parking structures. The residential limit is 1-2 hours on Mon-Fri, but thankfully no restrictions during business hours on weekends. Upon walking inside, I felt like I was walking into an open market, but I really enjoyed the large setup. You're greeted by a row of well-arranged flowers, and the cerulean walls create for a calming ambiance. Service was relatively quick (5-10 minutes) from order to sit-down. Their normal latte was incredibly impressive - and gone within minutes. It boasted of a smooth, subtly bold texture with no hints of bitterness or sourness. Seating is also plentiful and wifi free, but access to power outlets is scant. If you plan to stay for a while, make sure to plan accordingly! There were also a variety of items including what seemed like gourmet snacks, unique wines, a selection of charcuterie ingredients, and shelves of other products - perfect for a light meetup or a large group get-together. Sightglass is a coffee shop that I"m glad to have discovered, and I will be adding it to my regular rotation. :)
