Marjan does such an amazing job making delicious, uniquely flavored dishes from fresh ingredients. Pricing and packaging are on point too. You can taste the love in every bite! Cannot recommend enough.

The vegetarian ghormeh sabzi was DELICIOUS. Hands down best Persian food I’ve had in LA. The ordering process was very easy and Sogol’s Plate was so friendly.

Food this good could only be made with a mother's love! Sogol's plate is a great business run by great women and I would definitely recommend their to-go orders for busy students as the ordering and pick-up process were super easy. I ordered the Kotlet sandwich and it was super flavorful. You will not be disappointed and the portions were quite filling. Can't wait to order more amazing meals in the future!

Absolutely STUNNING food!! This is a daughter/mother operation and it is the epitome of home cooked! Very fair pricing too. Highly recommend for anything from a solo dinner to a big dinner party! Just make sure you order at least a day in advance! :)

Delicious homemade Persian food! I had the Loobia Polo, and it was perfectly balanced and spiced. They were also extremely accommodating with vegetarian options. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!

My meal from Sogol's Plate was so fresh, flavorful, and unique! I ordered the Kashk-E-Bademjan, a eggplant yogurt dish with Persian bread, and it was unlike anything I had tasted before. You can tell that they put effort into perfecting all the flavors in the meal. One order lasted me for lunch and dinner at a really reasonable price. I can't wait for my next order!

Lovely duo of mother who handles the cooking and daughter who handles the communication- was a joy to work with on my first order. They are super accommodating and will make any of their dishes regardless of whether it's on the day's or even week's menu. I asked for the tachin and kotlet. The tachin was glisteningly bright and golden with a crisp but not too crispy crust and a comfortingly buttery and fluffy inside. Chicken was decently moist, and the sourness from the barberries and yogurt balanced everything well. The kotlets which were flatter than I'm used to, tasted quite delicate especially considering they're fried. When I was trying to decide between the kotlet and another item, she had said the kotlet can't be found anywhere else because her mom uses a special recipe for the sauce so then I was sold as I'm a sauce fiend. The day before my pickup I asked if they do mast o musir which I always order at Persian restaurants. She said that's actually the sauce that comes with the kotlet. This was great albeit also a little disappointing as I was looking forward to this really "special sauce" which ended up just being the mast o musir. I will say though that it was still absolutely scrummy yummy, garlicky shalloty goodness. Another thing was the hand-written notes that other folks seemed to receive attached to their bags, which sadly I did not. But all in all everything was sumptuous and I'm looking forward to my next order. It'll be hard to veer away from the tachin to try other items. So glad for this wonderful homecooking nearby. Persian cuisine is one of those that everyone says the best really is in the home and restaurants just don't compare. Thankfully I now have access!

Casually discovered this restaurant while looking for lunch one day and I could not be happier. The food was fantastic. I ordered fesenjan and it was bursting with flavor. This is exactly what I imagine a home cooked Persian meal would taste like. Plus the fact that I can easily order through text is a nice bonus.

Tried Fesenjan today. It's my favorite Persian dish and it was one of the best Fesenjans I've ever had. A very generous piece of delicious tahdig was also included which was a really nice surprise. It is truly homemade food that no restaurant can match.

Had a delicious order of the Ghormeh Sabzi, the beef was cooked perfectly and the stew had wonderfully balanced flavors! I've gotten this dish from a few restaurants in the West LA area, and this would be my favorite! Looking forward to coming back in the future.

After trying several outstanding Sogol's Plate dishes, I could not wait to write about how terrific their food is. Despite having a packed student schedule, I try not to eat out too often, in order to avoid unnecessary food additives. Sogol's Plate offers authentic, healthy, and clean Persian food that is as delicious as it is nutritious. They do a superb job at making meals balanced and savory, without masking the flavors with excess butter and oil. Put simply, if you are in LA: Try Sogol's Plate because it absolutely rocks!
