There’s been so many countless times when I’ve passed by this spot while driving on Wilshire, and the name and the star decorations on the building never fail to catch my eye. It tends to get super busy on the weekends so I was happy that I was able to find some availability in my schedule and finally try this spot out.If you’re looking for a spot with good vibes to catch up and hang out with friends and family, then Star Night is up your alley. They have one of the best outdoor ambience in KTOWN, Los Angeles, and it’s even prettier at night with all the colorful lights. They serve tasty Korean pub food and they also have karaoke rooms for you to channel your inner Beyonce. Need some alcohol to unleash that inner Beyonce? Not a problem ,because they have a full alcohol license so they got hard liquor, cocktails, soju, beer and more! I thought that was pretty cool because usually Korean pubs/bars only serve soju, soju cocktails and/or beer.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Cross Streets are Wilshire Blvd & S Manhattan Pl.-Valet Parking (limited spots) or Street Parking-Try to get there as soon as they open or when the valet parking lot is still relatively empty so you can snag a parking spot. I would recommend parking on the right side (reference: facing the restaurant’s entrance) so you don’t need to wait for other cars to pull out to get out of the lot.|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Pork BBQ Platter – Highly recommend if you’re planning to share food with friends/family. It’s a decent portion and it comes with pork belly, sausage, corn cheese, steamed egg and kimchi. The juicy pork belly was definitely the star of this platter because these were gone as soon as they were cooked and ready to eaten.Fish Cake Soup – Broth was so yummy especially after screaming our hearts out at the karaoke rooms. I liked how the broth wasn’t overly salty. There was quite a good amount of fish cakes too!Pan Fried Octopus – Our server recommended my group to add some noodles on the side and I’m so glad we went with that suggestion because the octopus and sauce was so flavorful, the noodles helped soak up the flavor. I also liked that you could actually see and taste the octopus. I feel like most places that serve octopus dishes are stingy but that isn’t the case here.Corn Cheese – I didn’t realize the pork bbq platter already came with corn cheese but since I love corn cheese, I didn’t mind ordering a separate plate just for it. It was quite cheesy and I honestly was fine with that!Star Night Special – such a pretty drink with all the layers! Quite tasty and addictingVegas Pool Party – alcohol slushy time! I liked how they incorporated sour patch kids but do note that if your candy is in the drink for a long time, the candy will harden and it may be difficult to get to the candy!

Great location, very poor service. Every time we come back, we always hope the service improves. Nope. Still the same rude workers. We asked for simple request but get denied. Then we proceed to watch the table next to us get what we asked for (not food related, but table seating related) One time we got accused of not paying, but the card was clearly inside the tab. Didn't even apologize after accusing us and made a big fuss about it.

|[ a d i f f b e a r ]|My friends craved the old ob bear so we decided to come try and see if it's comparable. While the flavor of the panfried seafood was okay and decent, the undercooked rice cakes (at least on our visit) really messed the dish up for me. IMO a squishy and nicely cooked rice cake makes this dish good and without it makes this a 2.5/5. |[ o t h e r f o o d s ]|Kimchi fried rice 3.75/5 - fried rice really good but portion smaller than I'd like. The side salad was underwhelming imo and I'd prefer if they just made the fried rice portion bigger and/or put a better side with it. Fish cake soup 4/5 - prob my fav dish, soup was v flavorful with lots of fish cakes! The egg is also a nice touch. Decent portion size enough to share w a few people. |[ n o t e s ]|Has potential, would love to see improvements (see above). Cute relaxing interior, quick efficient service. Valet parking $5.

Food was okay at best. The options left much to be desired and the staff seemed more interested in the basketball game than actually making sure we got the food we ordered. The seating was rough, as the tables were way too small to hold the food since at least 50% of each plate was just covered in shredded lettuce. I cant recommend coming here unless you enjoy eating nothing but lettuce and a small amount of your chosen dish. Oh and they charge for water.

I've been a regular here for a while, because their food is so good (better since the OB Bear collab), the staff are all so amazing, and the outdoor patio is such a vibe. Go-to menus are chicken wings (original and marinated), muk muchim, stirfried squid with added noodles, all the buchimgaes, tofu kimchi, pan fried blood sausages and kimchi fried rice. The only thing I've had here that's not good were the chicken feet. It's chill on weekdays, and gets really busy/loud on Friday and Saturday evenings. We always know we're going to have a good time here!

I really like this place. I love the atmosphere here. The outdoor patio seating has heaters all around. It's have very cute Christmas lights all around. This place is packed with people. Service was good. The bar food was also delicious. We got the clam soup with bean sprouts. It was perfect for the night. The soup is large and stays hot in the grill. It was perfect for the cold night. We also got the garlic fries and that came out hot and crispy. Overall, we had a great time here. There's a valet or street parking.

Nice big clean venue. We tried fried chicken, Kimchi bokkeum, army soup and nakji bokkeum. Everything was pretty decent. My favs were the fried chicken and kimchi bokkeum. The nakji bokkeum had too little actual seafood. Staff was friendly and cute. Moderate to decent pricing. Was overall pleased for the value - atmosphere, food and service. I would repeat.

Great atmosphere, very inattentive service. Drink was delicious, food was inedible. I got the spam and eggs and ate one egg and two pieces of spam and I already feel like I’ll be puking in an hour. Actually disgusting.

What a fun place! Feels like you’re in Korea. Lots of Anjus here! We got the chicken gizzards, spicy (not too spicy) octopus with thin noodles, fishcake soup. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Food is yummy. Chicken gizzard was cooked perfectly. Dip it in sesame oil! Yummy. It taste like ones you get at izakaya on skewers.

Worst place ever. We ordered a "fried chicken"taht smelled terrible and was clearly not properly cooked. We simply asked to take it away and we will pay for it, but we mentioned it wasn't properly cooked, not a big deal. The waitress came back with the chicken and started chopping the chicken and trowing it to a trash bag in front of us to "prove to us" that it was properly cooked. We just asked for the check and left after that. We were never rude at all, the attitude has no excuses. Worst place in Los Angeles

Such bad service, we left without ordering. We wanted to join our 6 friends. They wouldn't let us sit at the table next to them because we only had 3 people. The table we wanted was the same size as the table they offered us. It makes no sense; we had 9 people combined and the table was no different, and it was empty already. Stubborn and rude staff.

This was our second round location and it was booming!! The ambiance in the location was popping! Their cocktails were yummy I believe $10+ and if you're drinking it's kind of a rule to at least have some type of finger food!! It reminded me of the 포차's in Korea! The waitresses are great and constantly checking up on you to make sure everything is going correctly.

Came here on a Thursday night and we were seated right away without waiting! This is a great place to hold large groups. You can street park or do the $5 valet parking which isn't too bad. The outdoor seating was so spacious and the fairy lights really brought a chill and aesthetic vibe to this place. Their menu is pretty expansive for a pocha. We got the fried chicken wings, corn cheese, seafood pancake, and kimchi and tofu. However the star of the night was the fried chicken wings - super hot and fresh. I just wish they had the sauce on the side but they ran out. The waiters were all super attentive to our group. They were quick to bring us anything we needed - utensils, plates, water, etc.
