Times in California are scary. Gasoline is 7 bucks a gallon and I'm using my coupons for food. I was craving a tuna sandwich for dinner today so I decided to walk in early today to grab a sub to go. A gentleman was in front of me and he was having a nice convo is Spanish with the clerk. It was informative. It dealt with the topic of food inspection and it's frequency. Every 3 months Subway will get hit up by a surprise visit. Eeek... no thanks!I presented my crumpled up coupon to the nice clerk and she instantly lost her smile. I tried to get tuna, which has been honored before, and she spit out that it was NOT on the list of coupon items. I decided not to argue with her and simply ordered a turkey sandwich and decided to leave her no tip for her vitriol. I saw an old co-worker on my way out so the visit was not totally unpleasant. Customer service needs to be reinforced here.

After a few underwhelming experiences here, I just had a terrible experience. My son really wanted Subway to take on a field trip so we were getting a meal. He needed an enclosed drink for the field trip but only after ringing me up do they tell me that water can't sub for the drink (as other fast food chains like McDonalds will do) and it's an extra $2.39 - raising the price 37%. Fine... I get the water for my kid and decide I'll have a drink now. The problem with that is I can only have sugar-free drinks. And the staff inform me that unsweetened ice tea was recently discontinued. So I settle for the one remaining sugar-free drink - Diet Coke. We leave. My drink tastes terrible - like a toothpaste + orange juice kind of abhorrent taste. My kid tastes it and agrees it's completely wrong. He then realizes they gave him the wrong cookie. So we turn around and head back to the store. I show them the cookie and they graciously correct their error. Then I ask about the Diet Coke. They shrug and say "I don't know" I ask what are the available sugar-free options if they don't serve iced tea and the Diet Coke is broken. Again a shrug and "I don't know" A few more questions on how they can solve this problem and more shrugs and "I don't know". It's become clear that these employees are not empowered to make decisions or solve problems. So I ask to speak with a decision maker. They say there's no one onsite. Again I try to determine my options and the lead employee goes to grab her phone. Naively I think, oh good - she's calling someone to solve this problem. NOPE - she points her camera at me and tells me she's filming me because I'm racist. I tell he again that I need a sugar-free drink and ask her to clarify my options. After more back and forth she finally says she'll go in the back to fix the Diet Cole. Why she had to create such drama before looking into the problem will forever be a mystery. After being gone for 4-5 minutes she comes back and says to try it now. Sure enough, the Diet Coke now tastes like Diet Coke. I thank her for finally fixing the problem and as I turn to leave she's making threats about uploading her video to social media and exposing me as an awful racist. I'm not worried about that as nothing racial came out of my mouth while I was expressing a health need that I'd hoped a restaurant that markets itself as a healthy alternative might be sympathetic to. But I was inexplicably met with shrugs of inaction followed by confrontational accusations. I really don't understand why a simple solvable problem had to go through so much drama before the employee was motivated to do her job. I'm absolutely done with this Subway and, if this employee is telling the truth about the chain's discontinuation of iced tea is true, done with Subway in general too.

I had a horrible experience at this Subway. First of all, they decided to make 15 Sandwiches for a catering order during lunch rush. Everyone had to wait. It took me 25 mins of waiting to finally get to order my sandwich.I don't know who made the mistake but they should have never made a large order during lunch time. It should have been made ahead. If the customer ordered late, they should have been told to wait. There was a really long line going to the door because of this and some people came in and turned around multiple times. I also kept telling my friend we should leave.Anyway, this is not my main complaint. My complaint is that after all this waiting, the employee named Eva intentionally made my sandwich wrong. I asked for a footlong oven-roasted turkey sandwich. I told her I wanted all veggies, the works. Look below at the attached pic and tell me if that looks like that. What I got was a very skimpy sandwich. They were low on turkey because of all the orders ahead and made mine with the scraps. I did not even get the full ounces of meat for the sandwich. So I got ripped off and did not get the full sandwich. And then she only put a little lettuce, olives and cucumber. When I told her what I wanted, I noticed she looked over at the other lady and made a comment in Spanish with a complaining tone to it. It seems they were pissed because of all the sandwiches they had to make and skimped on mine because they were tired and/or lazy. This isn't my problem though. Here is the other thing, lots of Latino contractors and others workers came in and got greeted with enthusiasm and their sandwiches were made fat and top notch. So, I wonder if race had something to do with it too since my experience and the sandwich I received was very different. As far as I am concerned the franchise owner owes me a free footlong sandwich and he should fire Eva.

0 star. Other subway locations will gladly give extra veggies, but this location asked for $1 extra and they are already stingy with the amount they originally put on? My sandwich was FLAT.

I know a lot of people stopped eating subway but this is my guilty pleasure spot. Something about the chewy flatbread that's been soaked in sriracha sauce, jalapeño juice, and vinegar. Maybe the fact that they add wayyyyy more veggies than other expensive sandwich shops. Maybe that they offer other veggies such as spinach, cucumbers, olives. Other sandwich spots may be lacking in the area. Yes, they use cheap ingredients. But they also load your sandwich with a ton of veggies. Service is always hit or miss. Recently Ellias, was cool and nice. The place has that cheap fast food vibe. Still the best sandwich spot in the area.

Pick up your phone. I've been calling for the last hour and there has been nothing but a recording saying you haven't set up your email.

I'm giving them one star, but they deserve NO stars, but you have to put a star in to write a review so they get one more than they deserve. I am not surprised to see the horrible reviews written here for this miserable place. The staff is horrible and stingy as hell. If you order on-line and ask for extra anything, you won't get it. You will not even get a decent serving of a "regular" item. Stingy as hell, remember that. Last night I went in with 2 other people to put in or separate orders and had a free 6 inch sub coupon that I got by spending $300 in gift certificates. They would not honor it in spite of scanning it and it even said free sub on the register. The stingy sandwich lady who could not even speak English calls the owner who told her that they do not honor any free sandwich coupons from Subway Corporation. Ridiculous. If you are hungry, go elsewhere there is a Panda Express a few doors down and a Shish Kabob place next door. And if you really want a sandwich get it from Sprouts Market next door. They make a great sandwich for a lot less money and they pack it up like if they are in a sandwich packing tournament! Subway Corporation should close this place or change owners. It's giving them a bad name.

Jenny was so sweet and had such a nice smile. She really made my day in the most simple way. Plus my sandwich was awesome! Keep up the great work Jenny, you're appreciated. ;)

Subway has always been a go to as far as fast food is concerned. However, the staff can be low quality. Example...Today I ordered a 6-inch sandwich and waited for the woman who prepared it to finish and then ordered the 2nd. She rolled her eyes, and asked "okay, how many sandwich?". Totally gave me attitude. So I asked "Is there a problem?" She ignored me. It took all of my "nice" to not walk out of there right then--really wanted to, and not pay for that 1st sandwich, and not ever return to this branch. Left a super bad taste in my figurative mouth. If your the owner/franchisee, hire better people.

Every time i go here. They always give bad service. Never had a gpod service here compared to other subway places.. i go here cos its next to my hair cut place and donuts place i go to. So if you're looking for subway place near by go to the one by ave 40 and eagle rock instead. DONT GO HERE!!

If you want to get a sandwich with mediocre service then go right ahead! I got an Italian sub and when asked if they have Italian dressing the boy looked at me bewildered. I saw two bottles thinking it was something for sandwiches. He then began to wrap my sandwich without mentioning they had vinegar and oil. Ugh! First lesson in customer service is offer your customers options. Good grief. 2nd time I go and get attitude ! Never again

First time visiting here, lady who made my tuna sandwich was very kind and she made a real sandwich for me. I will visit here again definitely.

WORST SUBWAY EVER!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I placed an order on line and they did not have it nor would they give my money back. I filed a case for fraud with my bank in order to get my money back. The manager refused to talk to me or offer to solve the situation... I called the store just now and they do not even answer their phone! This place is the WORST!!!!!! STAY AWAY!
