I had the 3 tacos combo plate. The tacos were good. I had the veggie, al pastor and carnitas. The al pastor was the best of the three. The rice and beans were alright. The portion size could have been a little bigger. The refried beans were a little bland and they charge $0.65 for salsa which wasn't great. That just seems a little petty. Overall I would definitely come back though.

Cute spot on Melrose. There's a back patio that's super cute to sit in. The loaded fries were amazing definitely recommend! Super affordable

Bad experience. Food tastes bad. They cooked in old oil and got stinking smell while eating food. Nothing tasted fresh, tasty.

Was really excited to try this place, I had looked at the menu a while back but happened to be in the neighborhood so I stopped by impromptu. The “meats” are listed on chalk on a board. I asked the woman at the counter if all the tacos had the same toppings, she responded “no” so I asked if there was a list of the tacos, she responded “no” again and then started rattling off a few toppings “like the Al pastor has pineapple”. Okay so how do I know what’s on each taco?I asked if she had a physical menu, “no” again. She appeared to have zero desire to be there, let alone help me out. I remembered I had seen the tacos on the menu prior, so I pulled it up on my phone, sure enough they were all on there. Why she didn’t mention that at the very least is beyond me. I felt like I had walked in and interrupted her afternoon… really awkward.Obviously, this is a two fold issue. The restaurant should have a QR code or the tacos listed physically somewhere within the restaurant. The poor customer service and attitude from the girl when I was just asking questions was super uncalled for and made me really uncomfortable.Ended up ordering an Al pastor and a carnitas taco with no onions. They came as two plain tacos with the same exact “meat” and a side of salsa. She probably could have also explained that they were the same, exact filling or made a suggestion as a substitute for the salsa, since I have an onion intolerance, but that would obviously have been far too much of a hassle for her.Hoping to return and try more items, but if this woman is working I will turn around and walk out. Unfortunately, the girl who greeted me when I walked in and brought me my food was really sweet so I hope this doesn’t affect business for her.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean, which is the only reason I’m not giving it 1 star.I was sorely disappointed by the food, in particular the quesadilla that I ordered. Perhaps it was my mistake for thinking the nut free cheese wouldn’t be an issue, but they gave me a quesadilla without the queso - a dilla if you will. They also don’t have hot sauce on the tables, you have to pay for their house made sauce. The staff seemed to be new as they were flustered by questions about the menu.

And all the times I've been there at the food has been consistently inconsistent. If I get two different tacos, I get two different temperatures. Seats in the back parking lot don't have much character. Staff takes the order. Real simple stuff. It's not cheap and it's not really filling. It's vegan. You pay more for Less. Wave of the future.

Cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. I love the Jamaica Agua Fresca – it's a great refreshment. If you're in the area and need a quick bite, this is the place to go.

Put in an order for pick up.They accepted it and charged us. Then 2 hours later they cancelled it, and left us empty handed. No heads up. Zero regard for the commitment they broke. And no apology or acknowledgement.

Affordable, casual spot where my husband and I can eat everything on the menu! And it’s all delicious! I have the large drink jar so when I take it back on subsequent visits I can get a discount on the tasty hibiscus tea.
