It is authentic Italian food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. When Italians eat Italian food in United States they get disappointed. After Sugo I understand why. Everything tastes so much better the real Italian way. If I remember correctly Cook is from Milano. Definitely Recommended!

Conveniently parked outside my apartment building I thought I'd grab a quick dinner off the Suego truck. So glad I did. This pasta was worth the 15 minute wait. I tried the $20 pasta combo which comes with choice of any pasta and either salad or fries. I couldn't in good conscience order fries AND pasta but the fries looked delicious. They probably would've gone nicely with the panini's. I tried the vegetarian pasta and even though the menu promised red pepper, mushrooms and olives, mine only had olives. It was still phenomenal. The salad was big, fresh and tasty. The portions are big but I didn't feel gross and heavy afterwards. Can't wait to try the sandwiches and the chicken parm.

Just incredible!What a treat.Our apartment complex had the pleasure of having SUGO on site.Being someone that's travelled and lived in Milan, Italy for 5 weeks; I am always searching for authentic Italian that reminds me of my stay there. This hit the spot!I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza which was to die for. Big thick crust. Very chewy, buttery, Parmesan loaded... what's not to love?Also had the pink sauce gnocchi which was incredible as well. Amazing flavors. A MUST stop if you're near this truck!

Best Italian food in Southern CA, or maybe America. I love the ravioli with alfredo. The chef is amazing!!! Pesto penne was also awesome! The desserts are all so great do. If this truck is anywhere near you, I'd highly recommend it!

God bless this food truck. They came to my apartment complex and I tried them on a whim. Now every time they come back, getting food here is a MUST. The pasta is delicious; I want to swim in the pink sauce. I've tried so many Italian places in LA, most overhyped/social media famous (cough cough J&V's). None of those places come close to Sugo. My BF gets their sandwiches and loves them, they are pretty big and filling. The owner is super nice, you can tell he takes pride in his food; as he should! 100% recommend.
