They serve real good biyriani, although a little spicy for a mild.

On the rare occasion I splurge on takeout food, this is nearly always where I order it from. I've liked all their vegetarian options I've tried. My favorite is the tofu Tikka Masala.

Experience: We walked over to the restaurant on a Friday evening around 7pm. Only one table was occupied and the rest were orders being picked up. The space is filled with canvas and artwork on the walls, carpet and rugs all on the floor, and a handful of tables on the right and left side of the restaurant, the middle is completely cleared out. We sat towards the window on Pico Blvd. We were handed two menus by a kind man. They have quite a few options, but all looked and sounded fantastic, also the price point wasn't terrible at all. Our drinks bread came out first, maybe 10 minutes after ordering, and a little over 5 minutes later the rest of the food. All delicious, owners were kind, and we left full and happy. Food: We ordered garlic naan, paratha, lamb curry, tofu spinach sag, and halwa. AMAZING. We asked for medium spice. The flavors were all intense but not overpowering, at first when it came out, the dishware was deceitful because it looked like one person could finish the main dishes, but no, the servings were perfectly portioned out for two people. The naan came in two large pieces, the paratha was probably one big piece but cut up in 4. The halwa was a different color and grainier from others that I've had but still delicious. We were so happy with our order. Parking: We walked over from our place, but plenty of free parking out front, or the side streets on Pico. On a Friday evening it is not busy. I think in general it is not too busy on week nights also. Customer service: Friendly and kind. Not aggressive or pushy. Immigrant ran business. No muss or fuss. Verdict: We will absolutely go back, I already have down what I want to order. It helps that we live so close. Happy we finally gave this restaurant a try. Please go and support, super delicious.

Imma be honest, their food is great. I've been their loyal customer for than 7 years. The manager (the lady) is the WORST. She calls her employees stupid just because they give good service to their customers. She gets upset (over the phone) and jumps to conclusions because she wants to charge for a tiny container of mint & tamarind chunty. She is greedy for money. Don't waste your time on this restaurant. Her behavior towards customer is so awful I don't mind NOT spending my money on her business. She don't know how to keep customers. What a disappointment. Oh and when I told her she was losing a long term customer, she legit said, "I don't care, I know my food is good. You won't find anything like mine". Uhm...wtf? Who says that to a customer? AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.

We have gotten takeout from Taj Mahal of India almost every week for years. Their prices are the same today as they were before the pandemic, which is incredible. Fantastic quality and taste for the price. We get the Butter Chicken (Chicken Makhani) and Tikke Masala and garlic naan and it is $29.00 (without tip).Give them your business

Walking in the decorations did not catch our eyes but I did feel a home vibe from this restaurant like we were in their living room. We sat down and they gave us water. We ordered mango lassi, shrimp Biryani, and lamb Biryani. Also had purchased the cheese naan bread and garlic one!! I had the shrimp plate and my partner had the lamb and let us tell you the rice itself is so delicious it does have a spice to it I told them I wanted it HOT and my bf just got the regular spice. I'm pretty sure you can tell them if you want it spice or not. Let me tell you if you like spicy food!! You should come here for sure! I would rate the rice itself as 9/10 and the add-on protein it's just so delicious. I recommend getting protein in it because it gives you a good amount of it. Not cheap at all. The add-on of the tomatoes I see as unnecessary because it's not grilled. The cheese naan bread didn't have cheese in it like we thought it would be 5/10. The garlic bread was 7/10 it was delicious. The portion size for the mango LASSI is awful. It was completely delicious 9/10 but super tiny.. three sips and it was done. I will not order the mango lassi due to size... I wish it was a regular whole glass and just charged us $5 for a bigger one.WE WILL BE BACK again for that rice and to try more things! Thank you

Absolutely delicious Indian food. I’ve tried everything on the menu and they simply don’t miss. The naan is top tier and the meat and accompanying sauces are of the highest quality. It’s my favorite Indian restaurant in LA. On top of all of that, the staff is incredibly friendly! A true gem.Vegetarian options: My vegetarian friend was impressed and satisfied.Parking: Easy parking on pico and side streets.

I ordered food for pick-up and the food overall very great! Chicken tikka masala - when you order hot, it is very spicy! Vegetarian dinner - great amount of food for the price. Comes with a curry, veg side, dal, raita and bread. Super good!

Best Indian food in Los Angeles! The samosas are truly amazing. The food is always so fresh and authentic. Never had a bad meal here.

I ordered on Uber Eats and it was the best Indian I've had in LA. Definitely recommend the samosas and the makhani (medium spice)!

The food was really tasty, the chicken tikka masala and chicken korma were really tasty. The service was good as well. The family managed restaurant does most of the work. Some air fresheners would really make the place better.
