Small place but good food. I ordered 2 Chile Relleno burritos, and I’ve tried a lot in this part of ELA and Pico. They really made them good. Big and stuffed with Jack cheese. I’m going back for sure.

Menudo is bomb and clean. Very thick clean pieces - you can take your pot and they'll charge per serving. The tamales are amazing perfect amount of masa and meat and sauce. Can't wait for another Sunday gathering

First and foremost I want to say the women there definitely try there best to give you the best service. It's seems as they're still finding their way to handle seating and customers who want to dine in. They're very helpful but sometimes forget to check in with you while you run out of soda or want your tortillas. So for service I would give 3 out 5. ---food, we had the menudo and green chili cheese tamale. Menudo needs more spice and more flavor. And tamales were excellent. I see people complaining over the price for a dozen but don't think about the time and or the increase in inflation. Not everything stays the same. However, the burritos I feel are their main thing. Burritos are tasty and well made with home made flower tortillas. Excellent taste. I give their burritos a 5 out 5 and everything else a 3 out of 5. ---- other than that it's very small inside and the atmosphere is like any other hole in the wall. Smells good, it's clean, and has a home touch feeling. I'm sure only with time these women will only get better and perfect their business.

I've been going to tamales Los Angeles for maybe two years and they've tamales have always been very fresh. Super moist and perfect.

The good: the best tamales in the area. Not skimpy on the meat, not dry, and I don't burp these up! They offer the staple variety: pork in red sauce, chicken in green sauce and rajas w/cheese. On weekends they may have sweet tamales and a few other varieties like chicharron or frijol. Tasty champurrado sold here. The bad: parking SUCKS. No indoor seating. For a pick up and go place, there is a longer than necessary wait. $32.85 seems a bit steep for a dozen. I miss their location in ELA that offered a private lot parking. Did I mention that street parking on Whittier Blvd sucks? All in all, this is the place to satisfy a tamale craving but at a cost.
