I wish this spot was in Chicago!! Killer fresh fish tacos and the service was crazy friendly and present without hovering. The fries with the tartar sauce were hard to stop eating!

Friendly staff and amazing seafood. We came as a party of 5 last minute and took over the large patio table outside. It was an amazing afternoon and we had such a great time. Great wine section, and the menu had good sharing options. Loved it!

Tangaroa Fish Market is a restaurant and fish market.I've been coming here for years and I always order for the oysters. Tangaroa Fish Market has a good selection, from different coasts (East, West, New Zealand, Baja, etc.) for a reasonable price. Another favorite is the Peruvian Ceviche. From the Fish Market, I'll grab the salmon burgers. Also, the Servers have the best personalities.

Fish is FRESH, grade A quality, is there anything else that needs to be said? It’s a bit of a hidden gem and when I told a friend that I had gone there, she remembered it existed and that she wanted to go

Wonderful food and staff. Very attentive and caring, Drew was the absolute best you could ask for. Chef was also super responsive to abnormal questions. Will revisit after their renovations in '24! Good luck!

Good happy hour deals. Ingredients were fresh. Quality is good, but not the best. As they say, it’s a “casual” dining. Decent service. For the price, happy for the experience and willing to try again.

One of the best seafood restaurants I've been to!The clam dish was amazing with the white wine sauce.Exquisite service, especially from the manager.I highly recommend it!!Parking: Only street parking is available which can be kind of difficult. Best to park in the neighborhood behind the restaurant and walk a little bit if you can.

There's a reason why we make the (near) weekly trek to Tangaroa. While it is pricey, the dishes are well executed and the seafood is fresh and plump. Some standouts include the catch of the day plate with risotto, the shrimp tacos, and the Peruvian ceviche.

Sunday football. Outdoor tables. Beer on draft. Checking all the boxes with ceviche on the side.

I might be the one person in marina del Rey that doesn't loooove this place. I mean. It's okay. I find their food to be a little heavy and def overpriced. If you like heavily fried stuff they have a fried basket of all things seafood that's waiting for you. Outdoor seating only on a loud street (Washington). Gets crowded fast with locals and dates. They don't have good non-alcoholic drink options. And I found service to be a little lacking. Mainly because they get so stacked and have a lack of servers. Expect to drop 50 bucks easy on a regular dinner for yourself here. Probably 140-200 for two people for. Or much. If you start ordering drinks and clams and such that number is gonna skyrocket

Tanagora Fish Market is one of the best fish spots I have ever tried. We tried the Pacific and Peruvian Ceviche and they were sooo good. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. They had a salad I tried, which I forgot the name, but if I could I would eat the entire thing by myself. So fresh and tasty. I also tried the burger which was also flavorful. The food came out in great time and the service was wonderful. If you're into fish, they have some great options here.

I've passed by Tangaroa so many times and we were finally able to try it on a Sunday night! Their patio is super dog friendly and the atmosphere was chill and relaxed enough for me not to feel out of place in a sweatshirt and leggings. We were looking forward to trying out the Fresh Uni but it was unfortunately out of stock so instead, we got the Fisherman's Catch and Steamed Mussels. Portion sizes were huge and hearty and it was more than enough for two! The steamed mussels in white wine was SO delicious, especially when we dipped the baguette in the sauce. I'm a sucker for a good calamari too so the Fisherman's Catch basket came with calamari, red snapper, shrimp, and oyster. Each was delicious and fresh. The waitress was extremely friendly and our food came out quick! It came out to ~$30 a person for some quality seafood and a casual date night with our pup.
