Went to The Carving Board for Saturday lunch. Service was friendly, the place is spacious and clean, and the food was very fresh and delicious. I had the hamburger which was juicy and very flavorful; my BRITISH date was very happy with her "fish and chips" sandwich. Can't wait to go back

Ordered take out from The Carving Board. We order from here about once a month and everything is pretty good. I always have trouble choosing but this time I ordered the Sunrise sandwich with chips. The sandwich had eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese and mayo. The sandwich is a good size where I was able to save half. It comes with a side and I chose the chips because it's the best! Fresh made potato chips are hard to find!! Chips are a must get. Previously tried the buffalo grilled cheese, very good, not as crispy if ordering through delivery. I'm not huge Buffalo sauce person but the sauce wasn't too tangy. The Bordeaux is my second go to, the burger following. (Door dashed, pretty standard)

I ordered the California smash tonight with chilli. I was excited because anytime I have eaten from here it's been amazing. Unfortunately tonight I am very disappointed and disgusted. My smash or the avocado smash that was put on my sandwich is literally brown to black! This is supposed to be gourmet! Also my chilli was cold. I had to warm it up. Please do better! My boyfriend picked it up for me because I am sick. Well your sandwich was sicker.

Placed a pick up order on THEIR website. Drove all the way there just for them to be closed. Wtf? Their website and Google maps said they were open until 10pm but they were closed by 8:30pm when I got there.

Great sandwiches had the buffalo grilled cheese- high quality chicken and had a kick. Also chips light and not too oily. Love the selection of drinks- iced tea and Jones soda.

They got the Jones blue berry flavor that is exactly the Nuka Cola quantum limited ed. Flavors that sold to sponsor fallout 4. So that something cool on top of the delicious food.
The food here is decent, however I've never been blown away. I think it comes down to: if you're from LA, it's one of the top sandwich shops and I think it's definitely worth a try. If you're from the east coast or someplace with a better grip on sandwich culture, it's going to fall flat. I will say, their homemade potato chips that come with every order have always been a hit among people I've been with!

I don't understand how this place has any poor reviews. Their sandwiches are magnificent. I usually get the filet mignon sandwich and it is the most delicious thing ever. It's such a treat. I'm lucky to live within walking distance, it's so good! Definitely recommend.

Great food. The sandwich initially looked small, but was packed and filling while retaining its structure and not falling apart. The service was great from the young man in the front tonight, very appreciative of him. The plate being replaced with a carving board was really neat! Highly recommended eating here at least once if you’re looking for a good sandwich.Vegetarian options: They offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options

Stumbled across this place after an awesome hike in Runyan Canyon. Everything was delicious and so fresh. We tried a chopped ceasar and a turkey sandwich and both were phenomenal!

Yesterday I went there and ordered fish and chips. Taste was great. Fries are well done with perfectly salted. I also took cane sugar orange cream soda. I just loved it. Mr. Mike provided an excellent service. He is so kind and polite. His service was beyond my imagination.
