I happened to be there for an event that took place last week, I did enjoy the aesthetic of the lounge and the fully immersive speak-easy aspect of this location.I only did not rate the food because I did not order.However for me, more than the ambiance - it was the detail of the bar and wait staff. Annaliza was our waitress/cocktail runner and Kela as well as Larry(?) was quick with making the drinks. I had an awesome night there, due to the event - but the team kept it rolling SEAMLESSLY and that is truly commendable.Its been a little longer in writing the review because (i lost the list of names) however, I want to mention everyone that had something to do with making my evening at this LA Speakeasy all the more enjoyable. Thank you!!!*Kela! Larry! Isaac! Chris! Annaliza! Mac!*I hope to see yall again the next time I visit LA!!*Forgive me if I did not mention your actual title/role but just know that I left in great spirits, due to your teams efforts.*P.S. i asked Annaliza for a picture before leaving out, sorry.

This was the most fun I had in a while! On Saturday, they played 90s music. I love how it was a mix of reggae, hip-hop, Spice Girls, and a bunch of other music. I really enjoyed this place because the service was amazing! If you got a sparkling water you got free refills! The best part was the variety of people that were at the club! I look forward to going back!

Low key bar in downtown. The safety and security here is a bit questionable. When we entered, they didn’t check any of our bags except someone carrying a larger tote, and even then, they only cared about a water bottle and didn’t thoroughly search. A metal detector could really benefit. The inside was a bit compact for the amount of people attending on a Friday night, seems as though we’re putting too much trust in everyone attending for our general safety in the establishment.

Wonderful basement speakeasy with a relaxed vibe - from the street, you wouldn't even know it exists! We went for the every Thursday Underground Jazz night and weren't disappointed. If you go, make sure you order the flaming Old Fashioned from Kela, who is absolutely the maestro - you're in for a show!

I had a great time here last Friday night but unfortunately the fire alarm went off and a security guard intentionally blocked the nearest exit. :( I would give five stars if not for that concerning fire hazard.

The service from Kela was PHENOMENAL! I felt so welcomed, very very taken care of. She made of the best cocktails I've EVER HAD! The decor made for perfect ambiance for a club that plays live jazz. Definitely coming back!
