My daughter saw your restaurant online and wanted to attend. She has multiple allergies so I emailed a couple of times and noticed you offered Vegan options. This helps with a dairy allergy. We were booked at 8pm used Valet parking, sat at the bar for 10 minutes which was fine and welcoming. We went to our table and Elizabeth was our waitress we spoke about the allergies and she was extremely attentive and helpful. The food was excellent as well as the drinks. The bonus was that all the sorbets were dairy and egg free. A great Saturday night experience in a vibrant setting. Please pass on my thanks to Elizabeth for her excellent hosting skills. Thank you.

Lavo WAS great. Dinner was fine, server was so awesome but the fried calamari veggie dish was so salty nobody could eat it, and the side of potatoes were not recommended, fries were cold. Perhaps the most thrilling part of the evening was when food got served and an entire glass of wine tipped over and covered one of our guests. In any event, none of the staff said anything to the manager about this incident and as a result, we left with 4 friends who will never be back. Sad, because the place is cute and if you know what to order, the food can be pretty decent. Also- valet is $20 so be prepared Follow up: Management did reach out after my feedback to try to make this better. A for effort on that side of things. Still, not going back but good to know they're doing what they can to make customers happy.

If you choose to go to LAVO, you are paying for the ambiance. The food is not very exciting nor worth the money, in my opinion. We ordered: - The crudo: Which was good, not mind blowing, but not bad - Penne alla vodka: Nothing extraordinary about this. The sauce tasted like something I'd get at a grocery store - Lamb: Extremely overcooked. I asked for medium and it was completely dry and very difficult to cut - Scallops: Again good, but not memorable I think this spot would be better enjoyed for drinks at their bar and maybe some light dishes to share amongst friends.

The waiter took 16 minutes to come to the table - the first brunch course was served after almost 35 minutes of sitting - just with water. He forgot to put the order for the sides - so the bacon and eggs arrived at the end of it all. The idea of brunch was to relax and it was pure stress

I went on a Sunday which was a great time to go. They have a brunch special which provided you with the opportunity to choose a third course meal from their list. The food was good and the drinks were great. They also had a live singer and guitarist which was lovely as my friend and I chatted over mimosas. The hostess was friendly along with the serving staff. Food came out timely and they were aware of all of our allergies to ensure we had the best experience possible.

Visited Lavo before once with my wife and loved the atmosphere and food! Decided to take my very good clients/friends to Lavo for a nice evening. Our reservation was for 6pm, pls note, the restaurant does not open until exactly 6pm. We had to wait outside. Not a big deal but not hospitable either. Knowing that many restaurants don't space out appetizers and main course appropriately, we had wanted to order the appetizers first and then the main course a little later. Our - very friendly - server asked us to put our complete order in at once and they will make sure it's spaced out. Food was overall great - but we were halfway through our appetizers when 2 people came to ask if we're ready to move on when we clearly had half full plates. Then they just brought out all main dishes and I literally had to woof down my remaing appetizer, the plate was removed and the main course put in front of me. WTH? Main course almost done, there she comes with the desert menu. I had to ask her that we'd like a little pause before looking at desert. I put the menu on the side and a busboy took it and put it upright right in the middle of the table, as if to convince us to look at it now! The whole time we were there, we felt rushed and just a number in their effort to turn the table as often as they can. We were not skimping out on anything, had multiple cocktails and wine too. Not sure if I want to return if they treat us like this.

Food was super underwhelming. Service was fine but restaurants such as Lavo have a standard to uphold regardless of how much is being spent by the customer and it felt like we weren't a priority in comparison to servers bigger tables or even following up. Tables were really close to each other and we happened to be sat next to a couple arguing and it was so awkward we were close enough to them to feel like we couldn't enjoy ourselves. Sad the penna allá vodka was below average.

We were given a gift card as a Christmas present and was excited to eat at this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The restaurant was beautiful and they played awesome music. Service was really good and the food was outstanding! We will definitely go back.

Had such a great dinner here with a couple of friends celebrating my birthday! Carolyn (name twin haha) at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating and our waitress, I believe her name was Zola?, was so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back soon!

Used to be amazing food and service below average on both waited 40 minutes for an item after every other item came out was full by the time it arrived ( all ordered at the same time )

Dinner: octopus was delicious, lamb chops good portion and the olive tapenade was delicious, duck was okay, broccolini was good Overall food was good in flavor but the temperature was off, prefer food swerve a bit warmer. The staff fantastic. Willing to go again

Pasties Pastries were amazing. The prix fix menu was a terrific deal as entrees can be quite expensive . Burgers were great. Eggs Benedict was good. Although I did not care for the bread they used. I believe Thomases English muffin would have been better. Too much bread for me Chocolate cake was tempting but at 29.00 for one slice. My entire meal was $35.00. lol. But it came with sorbet or gelato and it was quite good. They offered a third dessert choice. But I was told they removed it because the kitchen couldn't handle it. Nice atmosphere. Especially with the live music for a nice Sunday brunch . I would totally recommend the brunch prix fix. For 35.00. That's a sweet deal for LA .....

It's overpriced. $28 for very average tasting drinks. I think what annoyed me the most is that the menu indicates that most pasta dishes can be made gluten free, but what you learn is that they sub in the same gluten free pasta for every dish. For example, I ordered the squid ink lobster pasta, but the noodles were rigatoni. I wouldn't return.

No place to park and valet was $18.00 for 2 hours!! Ordered the pre fix brunch for 35.00 but after we ordered waitress tells us that they have no dessert! She didn't offer to make us happy until I asked about it and then she said she'd give us $10 bucks off. Ordered coffee and asked for refill. She told us their coffee machine was broke and gave us an americano instead and can't refill americanos! Not our fault your coffee machine was broke!! All in all the food was delicious but if you can't offer dessert or coffee for brunch, then I'm out!

I am on a budget, but wanted to take my girlfriend out for a nice celebration. The space, ambience, and service were all outstanding. The food was good, but the overall experience wasn't worth the cost for my budget. If I could more comfortably drop nearly $200 on a fairly-sized dinner for two people, then I would make plans to come back. However, the food wasn't good enough for me to be willing to spend like that with the budget I am on.
