I attended ‘Echoes of Earth and Sky: Fall Equinox Soundbath’ and was deeply moved by the experience. The sound healing journey was therapeutic, meditative, and a beautiful way to reconnect with myself and the community. The atmosphere was welcoming and serene, perfectly complemented by the embrace of the Fall Equinox. It was a truly restorative evening, and I’m grateful for this offering. How often do we allow ourselves this much time for self-care?

According to the motto small but nice, the room was one of the smaller ones on our trip to the USA. In exposed concrete you had a beautiful view of the Hollywood sign. Unfortunately, the windows are very thin and the outside level is clearly audible. Parking is extremely expensive! $45 + tax per night.

The Line is a wonderful chain of hotels. They are artistically beautiful. The rooms were chic and nicely designed with a large desk, cute sitting area, and artsy decor. Now... the traffic and noise of LA I heard from my room made it hard to find my zen. But, two glasses of Pinot Noir help me find a restful sleep on night two. The hotel is in Korea Town, a nice LA area with great restaurants. I would stay again.

The rooms were super cool with the floor to ceiling windows with the bed facing the view.
However, with that comes one of the major drawbacks -- the city noise. If you are used to city noise might not be a problem for you, but it can get loud.
Only other drawback I would say is that the bathroom isn't very updated.
But otherwise, I liked the room itself and the fact it's on a Metro line made it super easy to get around. And having a coffee shop on the first floor was very nice.

rather a 3-star hotel. it is clean but not the cleanest. hotel needs a little touch up everywhere. no place to put the luggage.
small space and you have to valet parking ($55). there is a small grass space on the west sidewalk where luxury apartments are. i wish the hotel would do more grass on their sidewalk instead of rocks and take care of the dog poops.
the space is so tight my golden rather sleeps on the shower floor. but its great that they dont charge dog fee!
i wouldnt recommend unless you really want to be in the area.
Rooms: king room with hollywood hill view is small. i didnt get the high floor i've requested for (rooms are sold out that night). i stayed in 5 hotels in LA and this has the smallest room. the space feels more like 200 sqf. there is no dining room as advertised. only coffee table amd big working desk
it is also not soundproofed. i stayed on 6th floor at the back of the hotel but hear sounds on the street and chatting people till late night.
Safety: the area doesnt feel safest since its near metro station. people were still walking until 10-11pm at night. i brought my dog for a walk at 11pm and 5am but didnt get any bad experience.
Walkability: near metro and food places

I had a disappointing experience at the Line Hotel during my stay. When I approached the front desk to ask for my room key because my dad was sleeping, this staff member made an inappropriate comment about being a "crazy ex-girlfriend." When I expressed that I found this disrespectful, he responded by yelling that he could be disrespectful to me because he is the manager.

I made a reservation, but waited for over an hour. They said it wasn't cleaned.
Food and drinks: Bukchang-dong Soft Tofu is right next door. It's in Koreatown, so it's good to go to a Korean restaurant.
Noteworthy details: If you are doing a day tour of LA, pickup from Koreatown Hotel is free.

The staff was top notch! The room we had was very nice. Shout outs to John Saenz in valet, Arlene at the front desk, and Henry the bellhop. And the restaurant inside was Michelin star delicious. Check out the great food we enjoyed!!

Everything went well, I liked the hotel, but no one told me about parking. After that, I only noticed this in the description, since before that parking was always included in the price of the hotel. They didn't tell me anything at the reception or ask me anything. I parked my car next to the hotel sign. Everything was fine, I liked the rooms and suites. But the next day, when I had already started to leave, an employee drove by and took the keys, said that I had to pay. I paid for parking, but the employee did it in a very rude way and in general I got the impression that the parking department lives some kind of separate life from the hotel policy. The staff at the reception were friendly and courteous6 that parking attendant was very rude, as a result, after a great stop at the hotel, I left in a very terrible mood simply because all the good time was spoiled by the rudeness of one person.

This is the only safe hotel near Koreatown.
I had booked another hotel nearby, but it was too dangerous, so I was glad I found this place and moved there.
Location-wise, I don't think there's anywhere else to go.
The legendary Bukchang-dong Soft Tofu is right next door, and there are also many 7-Eleven stores, various franchises, and large supermarkets such as Ralph's.
However, the only good thing is the location and other than that, the cleanliness is not outstanding.
It's suspicious because the employees are strange and there are many forbidden places nearby. The rooms are nice in Koreatown, with amenities including marijuana, but it would be better to just look for accommodation in another neighborhood.

All the staff was very accommodating and friendly! Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Had an issue with the shower the first morning and they jumped on it and had it fixed immediately minimizing the inconvenient.
Would definitely stay again!

Location in Koreatown
There seems to be some dissatisfaction because it is exposed concrete.

Stayed here a few years ago. Loved the rustic rooms. Service was good as well. Location is a bit far from touristy places. Otherwise great place to stay.
