Absolutely amazing food and service. The coconut beef adobo is to die for, and is amazing when paired with white rice.

If you want good Filipino food from a family owned cozy staple in Filipino town then this is the place to go! Came by here during a visit to LA and it was recommended by some friends who live in the neighborhood and I was not disappointed at all. Here are some takeaways:EnvironmentThis is a small cozy restaurant that has a family style vibe to it. A great welcoming energy, we felt right at home. We stopped around midday during the week so it wasn't a lot of people there. Overall it was relaxing and warm - great for lunch with friends or if you're alone and want to grab a bite to eat.ServiceOur server happened to also be the daughter of the owners. She was great and was happy to share some of the history of the restaurant with me. She was very helpful with telling us about the food and giving us recommendations. Great service!Food and drinksWe had a little bit of everything - and all of it was great! Here's a run down of everything we had:MAMA LEAH'S COCONUT BEEF ADOBOANN'S CORNBREAD BIBINGKASTEAMED WHITE RICENOEL'S SMOKED GOUDA MACSAN PABLO PULLED PORKEverything was delicious. The coconut beef (amazing!) was great with the steamed white rice, the mac and cheese was tasty, the pulled pork had a lot of flavor and the cornbread was warm and sweet, but not too sweet. Again - all the food was great.OverallLovely family owned restaurant. So glad that we stopped by here. If i'm ever in LA again this will definitely be a place I'll visit again. Great food with a great story.

Excellent everything!!! : food, atmosphere, service, location! I got the Tri Tip - so so so good. I also got the cornbread and the corn, bc I I love corn, and it's the best corn! Also, very great beer selection! Thank you James & Nicko for the top notch friendly service - you guys are freaking awesome and enhanced my LA experience so much! Highly recommend this place!!!!!!

Absolutely the best BBQ in LA! So affordable. I suggest you get a party of 4 or more and order the menu. Plenty of left overs and for BBQ very affordable. Coconut Beef is amazing!

Had high expectations of this place but after coming here I was pretty disappointed. It's not terrible but it is very average, overhyped and overpriced for what you get. Service is pretty bad too as I asked for water nicely but they didn't even bother to get it and the server laughed about it as if she was proud of herself.I will say that some of the dishes like the coconut beef, cornbread and mac and cheese were really tasty. However, the cornbread is very overpriced for what you get. It came out to about $12 for a small plate of it. Keep in mind that everything is a la carte so you end up having to spend a lot per person for very little. The tri-tip was awful and definitely not worth the price. It was close to $20 and wasn't even as good as store bought tri tip. Very small quantity too.

Yum. Yum. Yum. Really dope Filipino BBQ spot. Wish I’d taken a photo of the food…but trust me when I say, if you haven’t been here yet you should swing through! We ordered the Hot Link Medley, Mount Taal Manok (dry rub Chicken dish), pork ribs & riblets, coconut beef adobo, cornbread bibingka, esquite corn, mac and cheese, and the rice. All of it was delicious (& affordable and plentiful for the 5 of us), and I would recommend trying it all if visiting. I will say I really really enjoyed the hit links and adobo. ANDDD I’ll stake my Southern life on that cornbread. Ten out of ten, will visit again…for that cornbread.
